Louise! You are so generous with your knowledge - method, tips, colors, all of it. I appreciate your comment about the CA NOT needing to be 2-day fresh. I haven't painted for over a year and used some old CA yesterday, and it worked just fine - go figure!

Very pretty colour schemes, I always seem to put green with these colours, don't ask my why. I am going to put blue with it next time. Finished all my family gifts so on to blooms!! Finally. At first I'm going to get rid of all my leftovers and thicken them up and try to bloom with them. It'll be a good way to practice, I know it's going to be awhile!! But I am determined!! Love the jar idea, fill it with candy or cookies and it would be a great gift. ❤

Your end results are always flawless! How do you avoid pits, small holes and dips in the dried resin? Why do these occur?
@LouiseMcKayArt2 сағат бұрын
Hi Diana😘😘, thanks so much…I’m not resin expert, but I think a lot has to do with the resin that you’re using. I’ve never had any pets or small holes, occasionally I’ll have a small dip, but I don’t know what causes it. You always need to prepare whatever you’re going to resin on by wiping it down with an alcohol paper towel which will remove any oils that may have been left from finger handling. I can only guess that Pitts and small holes may come from air bubbles that aren’t popped as you should be applying a heat source to it several times before it starts to cure. But just google exactly what you asked me
@Diana-ft7vl2 сағат бұрын
@@LouiseMcKayArt thank you for responding! I have been watching ALL of your videos and realized that you have mentioned humidity and warmth of the resin . Hmmmm … I live in the south and our weather is insane 😂. I am ordering the resin you use and certainly will be using my heat gun and torch more frequently on each piece … I believe you are correct about the tiny air bubbles 👏🏻. Thanks again
