Color choices are spot on! You do have a knack for that! Better you than me with the foil...lol. When I've used it, there is a great deal of swearing! You and I come at things differently. I would have just let the inks dance on the rose... just to see what they would do.. so yeah.. I was yelling at you via my phone... sorry. 😔 Hugs to Sandy... oh, to you and Don as well!😉

Great video, Michelle! You could try using a stiff brush or a toothbrush to remove the foil. If I was going to turn the flower into a coaster, I would just pour clear resin over it to make it flat.

Backing that in white made a difference in the color. Try using tape to get the foil off? Don’t know but seems like alcohol would smear it, both came out very pretty as usual.

They are really pretty. Working with imitation gold leaf sheets is hard; they are so light that they fly away, and it is usually a very messy process. My only tip is to use the parchment to place them. I'll have to look back on how, but it is hard to use if it tears like yours was.

Try chemical resistant rubber gloves. They are resistant to resin. In chemistry we use them because regular nitrile gloves do not work.
