some cool facts about this updated v6 supercharged which came out in 2014 onwards for these models is that they have a clutch to disengage the supercharger when not needed and it also has direct and port injection.

This was my first ‘serious’ performance car. Miss it very much! It didn’t love my APR tune and pulley though haha…I hear they came out with a DSG tune since then to make things work better together :p. And I agree they didn’t cheap out back then with actual S5 badges everywhere instead of generic S.

Yes, finally. Been waiting for the review ever since you released the first video on this car about a month ago. The performance is very impressive for only a stage 1, with stage 2 it produces 500+ hp and requires a supercharger pully and crank/drive upgrades. Easily one of the most tuneable and fun cars out there, mostly due to the supercharger and 7 speed DCT. This generation was the best in my opinion, so much character compared to the rather dull new S5 with a turbo and standard auto transmission. Not to mention this is by far the better looking car

I have a B8.5 S5 in sepang blue pearl, and this is exactly how I want to set mine up. It's nice to see what a tuned one will do on the Autobahn since we sadly don't have one here in Canada. The "T" in the V6T is Audi's way of saying the car has forced induction, since from what I've read Audi designers didn't want any other "S" logos on the car other than the S5/S4 badges. I hate it and want to replace it with the supercharged badge on mine. I absolutely love this generation of S5/S4.

I have an A6 3.0T with a tune, stock exhaust but I did a tune and took all the sound deadening material out of the stock air intake. All you can hear now is supercharger whine!

You should test drive one with E40 tune. Switching from stage2 ron98 to e40 blend the 3.0T just felt like on steroids.

Drive Select is selectable within the "Car" menu on the center console. My car is lacking this button as well but I can switch the settings from there.

@@donvisione3634It can be programmed with VCDS, you don't need the button. The "Drive Select" stuff is basically just a button on the console and the options are turned on. But every A5 has the ability to use them, just without the buttons directly in the MMI.

His goal is to reach maximum performance and top speed, otherwise the car will likely interfere and cut throttle power. Besides, it was probably only in sport mode, the car still has its side stability control on incase it starts to yaw.

I've had a V8 manual model, and know what? I completely dont care that this one is faster than mine was (this has top speed of 294 speedo, mine was doing 270 speedo, these 20kmh dont solve anything) The V6 has no sound, no beauty of sound either....I would still take a V8 right now over V6...or the RS5 to raise the level of the car

Unlucky that his car doesn’t have drive select, that means he’s also missing out on dynamic steering and the sports differential which make a lot of difference to the handling of the car, vastly improves it and makes it handle like a RWD around corners
