My free tote supplier has started removing the bladders and I am able to just take the cages. What a HUGE blessing! Happy New Year.

Jake - Don’t you use the tops of the bladders to keep the rain/snow of your wood as it seasons ? Thnx…

Holy Sh*t! I used to work in the building where that brewery is. About 30 years ago. Great to see someone close to home. I ride the bike trail down the road from you when the weather is warmer.

Jake instead of cutting your totes at the top. Cut them at tht bottom to the top rung. Makes it easyer to dump into your truck or trailer. 😎

I didn’t believe this either until I saw Mike Morgan do it and it is amazing. I’d check it out Jake!

lol I did this years ago, doesn’t really make much of a difference for me because I flip them over completely.

I love this. I’ve spent the past three days processing totes to use for firewood. It makes for long days. But it’ll be worth it when I get them all finished. I’ve chosen to forgo cutting the bladders for tops,…so that sped up the process. Those drones are fun to have. I was playing with mine earlier this morning. I have the same one that you have. It literally teaches you how to fully utilize all of the features. Good luck, and have fun with it.

Jake, instead of disposing of the bladder, I have been using them to store kindling. I split cedar to bag and sell it as kindling. While it is seasoning I store it in the bladders and put the bladder on a pallet. The kindling doesnt really need any side support as its so light. Just drill some holes in the bottom of the bladder so water doesnt accculate in it. Im fortunate enough that I work in construction, so I get tons of lumber tarps for free and use those to cover the kindling. Plenty of places to get them tho. Lumber yards would be happy to give some away.

Happy New Year, Jake. Have you seen any of the videos from the Hard Working Man where he is attempting to modify IBC totes to help facilitate the loading and unloading of them? I'm not sure if you would find any of his mods to be beneficial, but it might be worthwhile to take a look?
@DudeRanchDIY10 ай бұрын
Yes I’ve seen a few clips of it, honestly seems like a gimmick to me. I flip them over and dump them out, I don’t need to really modify them at all.

Do a google search for “bulk fluid delivery near me.” There are companies that may sell them cheap to get rid of them,..as they usually don’t have enough room to keep them. I bought 208 totes at $15 per. Everywhere online was asking $45 and up.
@DudeRanchDIY10 ай бұрын

Had my previous blk lab trained for rt paw shake, left paw give five. Gonna be a brewery near me ( they'll be in Ontario NY) that's moving into an old elementary school. 72,000 SQ ft. K2 brewing. So I'm not sure if you've ever addressed this, are you and Chris partners in the firewood or does he help a lot/ get $$ by you? Well into the dark, so until 6? 😅😅
