Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider that Wraith game tragic. The amount of teamwork they pulled off for Steve was incredible, more so if they were all Solo Q. The fact that the Wraith left them on the ground like that shows how much they got to him. You don’t need to escape to win sometimes. I see that game as an absolute victory, especially now that it has been immortalized online.

And I probably would've been really frustrated (I mean I was but not as much as usual) if I just....didn't have a great team. I'm a competitive person, I like winning (within reason, I've never brought a pink key or played Spirit for more than 1 match) and if your good and outplay people consistently, the game is fun. Also stay away from hyper-meta sweating. Don't just run the 4 second chance perks because your games will get stale. Find perks(or killers) that you like, and aren't just what the meta tells you. I'm partial to Head On and P E B B L E because I think they're funny, but some other people swear by Lithe and Balanced.

I do agree with @Totallynotkyubey though the dbd community is pretty bad in this regard. As Otz said in his BP bonus addon vid, people are too obsessed with winning rather than having fun. That Steve vid a is a good example. They were tunneled by the sweatiest Wraith imaginable, lost, and the remaining Survivors were forced to bleed out, but they kept their head high and seemed to enjoy themselves, and that means more than winning.

It's just a lack of communication within survivor group/over-altruistic plays and not that good gen dedication killed all of them. these wraith and huntress behaviors should be absolutely reportable and bannable. This is literally anti-gaming. I play killer up to purple ranks (can't stand red ranks) and I do believe that sometimes tunneling is needed, or camping (for 1 stage transition, to death if they're already on struggle phase and you need the death pressure), but this is just on a whole other level. At this point Steve couldn't even play the game, it's like someone turned to him and said "Yeah you're not playing this game". I say screw killers that play like this

IMO the worst thing about the wraith game was the unessasary slugging at the end when everybody was downed and not picking up. Everything else in the game was weird, but prolonging the game like that is just rude.

Now that wraith was disgusting, Steve didn't go a gen right after being unhooked making for strategic tunneling, Wraith was just straight up hard tunneling. Yeah… That might work if he started playing more try-hard, but he didn’t. He literally tunnelled that Steve and, had he not been facing and more altruistic team, would probably have just… Lost the game for it. I’ve Leatherface who are the same. They even have the gall to sit there and hit you while you’ll struggle on hook because they’re annoyed that you won’t die so they can go stop the gates being opened. I say this as a killer main who still kinda thinks Survivors are typically more CONSISTENTLY toxic in my experience, but there are definitely some absolutely garbage killers out there that would rather secure one or two kills than actually have fun with the survivors in a game and it sucks.

that second to last game i feel in my soul, the amount of times ive ran killer for an entire gens worth or more, like the time it would take to finish one gen, theoretically speaking if all 3 other survivors were on separate gens they're should be 3 gen pops, only to get hooked with zero maybe 1 gen, is atreocious. I've said it before and I'll say it again, everyone wants to be a hero and flashlight save or pallet stun or go for the unhook right away, even if it means coming from the other side of the map and or not doing gens just so theyre immediately there for the save. Doing gens just arent in some peoples meta

It's one of the more consistent ways to achieve rank 1. To add on to that, rank 1 survivors tend to generally be a bit more toxic and competent which can be frustrating for some killers to go against. This makes killers play more scummy to "counter" that. It goes both ways
