That’s the most frustrating thing. I play with someone who always justifies his play style by “well I escaped!” Meanwhile I run the killer for the entire match and do 3 gens. I mean, I enjoy being chased and escaping isn’t everything, but when I tell him to change his play style slightly to just focus gens first instead of opening every chest on the map so I can maybe survive, he says, “well I escaped and you died so I must be doing something right.” fml

@karimsonsafehold92333 жыл бұрын
@@MythlyInari I do the same thing. I will be satisfied if I can get a single kill of the highest ranked/best looper in the match. It is frustrating watching all the other players exit though, most aren't nearly as good and tend to have 1-2 hooks already on them. I got a decent 3 gen near the exit gate on autohaven, but they were so far apart from the small blood lodge. I delayed it quite well, but I could never catch them at gens as they can hear the spirit approaching. At the end when exit opened, I only had 0 kills, and the looper had no hooks on them. Then they got over confident and left the jungle gym and I used noed to one shot down. The other 2 decided to go for rescue, and I ended up with 3 kills. The last one even waited outside blood lodge for the person in the basement to die. Must be swf I was up against. Extended the 3 gen defense (1 gen to exit) for 3-5 minutes. I would go to the farthest end, chase somebody for 10s away, kick the gen, and proceed back to the other end. If they were closer, I might have seen somebody. The precise timing of the spirit aura is hard to lock down as it is not 32m.

This is like a demotivational post in video form. Like I feel like I'm getting worse at survivor by watching it

Omg the way Otzdarva uses his camera in survivor is scary he looks behind him but only sometimes

you need to be as aware of your environment as you are of the killer
@amaterasu30993 жыл бұрын
@@andrewbaiocco304 but at some point you know the map and only need to look ahead sometimes instead of looking at the killer only sometimes. The killer is more unpredictable than the environment
@andrewbaiocco3043 жыл бұрын
@@amaterasu3099 your teammates are as unpredictable as the killer too, they can turn entire areas of the map into a dead zone, or be on generators; awareness of your environment helps to not bring yourself to a zone with no loops, and keep yourself from bringing the killer to teammates
@amaterasu30993 жыл бұрын
@@andrewbaiocco304 Yes, but it's way better to look behind you at the killer most of the time, and then regularly peep at the environment you're in, than doing the opposite, at least in my opinion
@andrewbaiocco3043 жыл бұрын
@@amaterasu3099 obviously it is good to look at the killer to see how much distance and what they're doing in regards to what you're doing; but my point was that awareness of the killer doesn't mean anything if you don't have awareness of the map. as i said, environmental awareness will keep you from taking the killer to gens or areas without loops; every second matters to the killer, you don't want to give them the ability to pressure multiple survivors at once, nor give them an easy down. i never argued that one was more important than the other, just that one IS as important as the other

the way otz snaps from vibing to in the game at the start is terrifying, guess it's not the real otzdarva afterall

Ah, yes, another survivor solo queue with Otz being one of the only two competent survivors on the team.

that Nea chase had me on the edge of my seat...wtf was that round! She dodges point blank hatches and swings so easily.

The funny thing is there's always a slight delay on Twitch so you'll never actually see it live
