Loved this video and appreciate your balanced collection - would love to see a similar video for shoes! I think the book tote can always be repurposed as a chic blanket holder in a study or lounge and can be utilised in other ways apart from its original function and you can still get joy from it that way. I often use the mentality of “if I’m not swooning over it then I should move it on” - sometimes harder in practice but I always found it a good mantra to use.

👜 Most of my bags are Dior, but I haven't been tempted to buy something in a long time. It was no nice to hear someone else say exactly what I've been feeling about Dior recently. The brand is trying so hard to be cool and trendy, and it's losing that elegance that I associate with Dior. I know some people love it, but it's not me at all. It was also refreshing to hear an influencer who has worked with the brand honestly say it just isn't for them anymore/at this moment.

Great collection. I know you and others in your profession wouldn’t do this, since the internet can judgmental-but it would be interesting to hear about the complex of getting great items that just don’t suit you. I think a few of your bags that were gifts are lovely but you’d sell them in a heartbeat since they aren’t you. (I’m thinking of the Serpenti bag gifted for you wedding-it’s a bit big for you.) If you were truly doing a Marie Kondo thing, you’d be able to let it go. But it’s a bit awkward. On a similar note, it think your Chloe bag you can “thank and let go” like Kondo. I think it’s gorgeous but I think you’ve grown past it and have others you’d reach for. I don’t think you’d really Mossi it if you sold it.

@@Ash-yc6ql I like Lydia's content as an overview of trends, fashion etc, but I think that the majority of people don't need such a high concentration of bags in their possession, it is unrealistic for most and quite overwhelming, because you don't get to use all the 50 bags as much as they deserve. For Lydia this is a job, I was talking from a perspective of an ordinary girl. If you were genuinely interested then that's what I think. Of you jumped to her defence, there was nothing bad in my comment, but to each their own.

The Chanel Lunchbox chain can be re done I can take leather out and put back the right way! Any reputable leather cobler should be able to do that for you as well as touch up any spots on the leather with that tan color and you can also get your gold plated items read it I’m sure that bag can be brought back to excellence again! If you don’t want to do all that I would suggest selling it knock off $300 for the strap

The vintage fabric baguette, lilac peekaboo and green lady Dior would have worked with so many of your white outfits over the past summer, what a shame they didn’t get showcased. The black capucines and black textured lady Dior are a good choice to sell as they have definitely been replaced by the lovely Kelly but please can you tuck the sangles under the closed flap to help prevent wear on them, as pains me, and other bag lovers I’m sure, to see them flailing around like two antennas. The two medium Dior embroidered bags are absolutely stunning, lucky duck. 👜

You don’t have to never use a bag or ever take it out of the box in order for it to be an investment with great return in the future. All you have to do is take care of them. Keep the book tote. So classic and its darker tones work when your lighter one is not seasonal. Great for the plane or shopping. It also can go on display in your house filled with books and magazines. Guest room even to add interest and function, or set by a reading nook. I even use gorgeous totes for files in my office for my current work. Streamlines the look of my office and replaces piles on my desk. Its an amazing piece. Timeless. P.S. That first lunchbox needs to go. It doesn't look as nice as its worth. You have so many others that are worthy of your excellent style. Love your videos!
