The easy way from Acton Town to Victoria is either to catch a through train (District line) or, slightly faster, use the Piccadilly to Hammersmith, cross the platform and join the Victoria train there. No pfaffing about at South Ken. And following a sign which says no exit to street seems a bit strange. The signage is really quite clear - use the Exit.

Interesting video, but surprised that although this chap used to work in London and used the underground, @9:48 completely missed seeing the conspicuous overhead platform signage directing passengers to Victoria National Rail station, instead decided to take the no entry stairs against the flow, to emerge trapped the wrong side of ticket gates, he also has luggage but doesn’t use the wide accessible gates.

Well, some points are not recommendably accurate enough to give you a thumbs up this time. 1) I change at Hamnersmith where you just simply walk across the platform. 2) tourists will be confused - of-course there are day, weekly and monthly tickets which include eveything, from Thames boat to cable car. If you want to include all the zones, of-course it wont be as cheap. ALL the biggest cities in UK have similar schemes, including Scotland. 3) there is a Southern day ticket for £20 but you have to get it on-line. AND with that ticket, you can go anywhere and everywhere with Southern - even out to Milton Keynes.!! So, in resumé - in future, if you want tbumbs up, you'll need first to do a LOT more research, including speaking with people in the know about South East travels. There are very competitive channels on-line which are even more knowledgeable about these things than myself.
