last vid i watched was with kraft werks- not positive, saw this one- 450Hp so i looked at the supercharger, took to their site, looking good again ! i have my 2007 Si coupe being rebuilt in the shop now, i intend to buy a used k20a rebuild it and throw a super charger on it- plus get the essential mods- looking at 2 years maybe ? no clue but i have a Coles notes book now on upgrades and possible route to take- thanks ! first upgrade is the radio bezel- i replaced my stock radio but the bezel was not replaced - not cool !

Nice car but I would still go turbo; there are have been SOOO MANY New Technologies with turbocharged cars that lag is almost non existent..and picking the right sized turbo is key for your application ...its people(like me 😌) that like to see peak numbers lol but I grew out of that since I swapped to a k24a2 with my Garrett35r you barely notice any lag...And I can still leave it at 10psi all day and make over 400whp and with a click of a switch make over 485/500whp at 15psi depending on the fuel in the tank; anyways to each either own I guess lol nice car nonetheless

Overall turbo is far less reliable than a super charger, easier install. and way less maintenance. Bet you never thought about any of that before. You the type to bring your car to a shop and spend 10k for them to do the work. Lmfao

@@jackhofalot6705 dude you don’t even know me if you honestly think mom and dad paid for my build you a SADLY mistaken I had paid for my car back in 09 and paid off the loan off 2 years in advance in 2011 I got a good deal off a Greddy Kit and it lasted me till i pieced together the custom kit I have now wasn’t buying a PRL or Full Race..and if YOU knew anything about builds a custom setup would have to be brought to a shop the major brands are bolt on which pretty much comes with an instruction manual....and your argument about it being reliable is nonsense...it’s a boosted application on a N/A engine both can be unreliable hmm maybe the tune, installation you have it...I drove from Nj to Fl round trip beating the living crap out my car and it got me back with NO PROBLEMs it’s people that like to show off and think they’re the fastest thing on the street or something to prove that usually blows up their cars! I rather have my local shop(ESHIFT PROFORMANCE) do the setup for me anyway it brings their work business to show what they can do and have the warranty from them-many have went their and guess what all the Si they have done are still on the road and TRUST ME if you knew anything about turbo you won’t need $10k I did the research and put mine together for $4300!!! And as for S/C I have no gripe with it I was just clarifying that a lot of new technology has gone into turbos where you can basically have non existent lag especially if you pick the right setup

I'm def looking into upgrading to a 2300 when I rebuild the motor. It was suggested not to go 2300 on stock motor as the tq levels would be too high for stock rods.

There are a few 2300s out there. But it’s mostly fully built K20/K24 frank motors. They produce so much cfm it would blow the heads right off our puny 9thgen motors. The 1900 has made 550+ on 8th gen motors so very few have still found the limit.

I could making over 500whp now if i wanted to. Problem is not turbo or supercharger, it's the stock motor with the low end power. I don't want the risk of blowing my stock motor. Where do you get the idea that superchargers can't make more HP? check out my boy johny tank on YT. He has the record for the fastest 8th gen supercharged and he is running the same kit as me. He is pushing close to if not 600whp.

Pick your poison according to your racing style. Supercharged is an expensive Daily Civic typically. You pay for the convenience of the kit. Turbo is a poor man's super car. with a few hundred bucks a tune and few parts you can get turbos on ebay and make 450 safe hp on very low boost. Pick my poison? For my daily I'd like a Jackson racing kit new but once again gotta have an extra $5500 laying around. Turbo is just too cheap to resist for most but comes with the headaches lol like I said poison..but a must have!!
