@PaulyP Жыл бұрын
Yes. The brake booster, evap, and vacuum reference for the bypass valve all go into the inlet. I have the evap T’d into the brake booster since I only had two barbs available for those three things, the newer kits have three barbs so you don’t have to T them anymore. Boost gauge, fuel pressure regulator, etc all use the Barb on the manifold

@PaulyP4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they’re not in everyone’s price range, and that’s okay, but I absolutely love mine. I highly recommend it to anyone. Power is instantaneous, and it takes fractions of a second to get back into full boost after a shift, and that’s something that never gets old to me.

@@PaulyP Merc Should provide a budget kit man.. THis is the reason more people dont use SuperChargers, especially in the Honda scene. Their 1320 Kit is like only $200 less than the 1900 and only like $400 less than the 2300.. I dont doubt they are great products and quality pieces, but I really feel someone needs to provide a good budget supercharging kit that is more realistic in price and more competitive against Turbo kits.. You can get a real quality Turbo kit for like half the price and make more power.
@johnytank12054 жыл бұрын
@ you are absolutely right, I've been telling jose the 1900 and 2300 are priced too cheaply when compared to the 1320. But he won't budge off the nearly non-existent profit margins 🤷♂️

@ the main reason more people don't use superchargers is they are all worried about the IG likes from their peak HP numbers on a graph. Plenty of people actually racing k series all over the world running these blowers, but they aren't "social media influencers", so most never know
4 жыл бұрын
@@johnytank1205 I couldnt disagree more.. The reason people dont use blowers on K series is simple.. They are not affordable, and they are not as versatile. Plain and simple. I think the Supercharger is fantastic, but lets be real, 90% of people cant afford $5K for a measly 300-350whp.. And for the Merc kit, more than $7K for 500whp.. When you can buy a Full Race kit for the same price and make 700-800whp with ease. And peak HP numbers are absolutely important. I dont think Instagram or appearance has anything to do with it. If Supercharging kits were more affordable, you would see more superchargers on Hondas than Turbos. I have been in the Honda scene for over 20 years, and I can assure you almost every decision to go boost comes down to cost. You can put together a relatively reliable Ebay turbo kit(which have come a long way over the years) and be boosted and making power for under $2,000.. If you could get a quality Supercharger kit for that price, you would see equal amount of people buying them.

If I were to get the 1320 for my rsx S, would I need to get the air to water cooling? Or is that just optional? Looking to make 350whp in at 220whp right now NA. Also what else would I need decided SC, belt, pulley, and fuel system?
@PaulyP4 жыл бұрын
You don’t need the cooler, but you probably won’t crack 350 without it. To meet that goal easily, you’d need: A good 3.5” or larger intake A larger throttle body helps, Blower pulley - depends on your end power goal, you’d probably want something small like a 3.0 or 2.8 with a 1320 for 350 Belt - which length depends on numerous factors, it’s easier to just measure Header 3” exhaust Fuel pump - DW300, Walbro 450 injectors - ID1000s Oh and a clutch, the stock one will probably let go after a while at 350. You can probably get there on 93 octane with the parts I listed above - if you paired it with ethanol, you’ll definitely made that, but your fuel system needs to be a little more extensive. Check out this video from a good friend of mine, lots of good information related to the setup you’re asking about there / on the channel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGmzeKuDZambjJY
