Love!!! Love!!! LOVE, this format! A Race to 12, this is definitely a keeper format. You gave us the specs and info needed upfront and got straight to the good part. Really loved the fact that we got to see it from both a righty and a lefty's stance. We got to see a little transition, a little break down, and the moves you guys made to compensate, for both sides. Definitely keep this format.

Ron, you mentioned “change his layout because it’s so forward for him” Would you plug and redrill? What are the pros and cons? This type of content interests me. Thank you for all your contributions.

This format is AWESOME!! Being able to see how the ball reacts when making adjustments is great information. Personally, I would enjoy more talk about the layouts, mass bias, and surface of the ball, to better understand the motion.

I really like the format with missed shots and talking through the adjustments. Having different styles helps as well. It was interesting seeing the ball reaction with the higher rev rate. That has been my experience with Asyms and particularly Hammer, but now that I'm learning more about layouts, I think my hate for asyms has to do with how they have been laied out for me. Keep up the great work.

Truly a great video Ron! I am about to pull the trigger on BW 3.0 and I am a lefty with a 350 revrate, so this content is EXACTLY what I was looking for. As always, your feedback is awesome! It's been a while since I have had an asymm ball drilled, so my PSO will definitely need to run some numbers.

You mentioned increasing the pin distance on the layout to reduce how forward it is. This great knowledge, as one of my struggles with low tilt, high speed, high rev is forward roll.

Finally!! I get to see real ball reactions and misses. so tired of seeing crankers and 2 handers with 450+ rev rates, and edits to show only strikes. Im an older bowler with bad shoulders, rev rate about 350-375, need a ball that can make the turn and finish. I would like to know what the THS pattern is though?? I had an OG 16# Black Widow back in the day. I think this video just sold me a new one.

This is a nice format. However I think Ron had the advantage from the jump. Ron was bowling on the lane that has more friction due to the make up of the SPL. The left lane is faster than the right. I would like to see this format again but switching at the halfway point…. 12 strikes (first to 6) then switch just so you can see the ball reaction from the same player on two different lane surfaces.
@Ctdbowling9 ай бұрын
We can incorporate the lane switch. We may have to set the cameras up in a different position

@DNDDAME9 ай бұрын
I loved everything but the one thing I would say you guys should’ve done was after the first person made six you guys should’ve switched lanes due to the two different textures of the lane. We would’ve been able to see if Chris’s ball had a different reaction and yours aswell Ron. I feel like this would actually help out a lot, because a lot of people bowl on certain lanes having two different bowlers and two different lanes would’ve been the perfect execution in my opinion. As I know, his revs would’ve came off your lanes a little different than the slick China.😮😂

@williamfreitas70169 ай бұрын
Those steps are what the factory put the ball through. Why not just 2000? Because they use Siaair pads and not TruCut which is also why it won’t scan at that surface.
