QuickTutorial: How to host a server in quake 3 and join using Hamachi(2/2)

How to connect to your server and make others connect to your server through Hamachi.
Hamachi steps:
1) download hamachi:
secure.logmein... ( I downloaded unmanaged)
2) install Hamachi then make a name in Hamachi
3) join a network and host a server(see part 1 on how to host a server)
post a question if you have one

Make sure all of you guys game is the same version(If there are patches then patch the game to the latest one) Also if you want to play a free to play version of quake 3 with more players online play quake live. It's exactly like quake 3

by pressing alt + enter you can play win windowed mode (late reply)

@jumperkid777 I actually played both while growing up. Quake 2 on PS1 and Quake 3 on PC. I like Quake 3 better because its like really faced paced but I am only saying that because like I said I played it on PS1 and console FPS are sort of slower paced compared to PC. I loved split screen on Quake 2 on PS1. I remember playing it with my friends for a long time. Good old days.

I made the server as you showed us, me and 2 of my other friends try to make one, but when i made 1 they couldnt join but i was in frankly...maybe the version of the quake 3 is different? reply pls

Whenever I or my friend creates a server, it just takes the host to their desktop, showing the blue console. I wanna play, not stare at my console.

the server use protocol 71 and yours is 66 how to make to 71 protocol
