That's funny because I'd often thought the same thing - he does look a lot like a toy soldier, the little drum really completes the look!

They played next to each other in 2018 the day after the FOPS AGM.

Ah yes - I was forgetting about that! That's the first time I ever saw this organ, when I walked past it it wasn't playing.

The front has been repainted since Colin Bullock had the organ, and those nasty lights have been removed. The action was also redone by Tony Cragg a few years ago. Overall, a very good small organ with good music arrangements. One sluggish trumpet.

Gourgeous! My only problem with it is that the snare drummer figure only seems to be hitting the rim with its left hand.

I don't think he's supposed to be 100% realistic! The most irritating thing is when you have a little figure like this which doesn't move at all - as is sometimes the case.
