I'm an american kid trying to practice fighting, thank you for helping me with bullies!

Combat sports/martial arts and dealing with bullies or any form of real-life violence are two separate things. Self-defense and fighting sports are not interchangeable. I mean that they are separate things. Learn self-defense for dealing with bullies. Learn Wushu for fun and all its benefits. You may think kicking your attacker's ass is a victory. Guess what, now you've got a target on your back. Once kids know someone can fight, they attack them behind the back or with an entire group of friends.

@@samaiech7587 False, ya turd blossom. They’re not different things. There is no such thing as “self defense for da streetz”. Martial arts will work fine. Are you trying to tell me a Muay Thai fighter won’t kick the legs off of some average joe?

@@高宇中 And btw, did I ask for your opinion? Have you trained with self-defense instructors like Lee Morrison or Kelly McCann or Richar Dimitri? Who trained you?

@@samaiech7587 Welcome to the internet, where you don’t have to ask my opinion in order for me to speak. You’re a bit of a self-righteous brat, ain’t ya?

Damn, I didn't know how different punching technique was for Sanda, i thought it would be like MMA, karate, kickboxing or boxing! Unfortunatley, because of muscle memory of 10 years, I cannot punch like a Sanda fighter, only like an MMA/karate kickboxer type punches!

What are the key differences, only thing I notice is the stance

@@chrisprad8325 mostly the stance; sanda punching tends to have a big rotation of the body, with a big emphasis on the lead hand. so, lot of stiff jabs, lead straights, lead hooks, etc.
