Cheater logic... I don't get why these people just don't get into an open relationship. Instead they date people who want a monogamous relationship and then blame them because "they made him/her do it." You can break up at any time, perhaps having the awkward talk rather than thinking than cheating is a long term solution? At the end of the day, they are selfish...

Lol right even if she didnt like Danny devito with a wig nobody would want to date her because of that unless it was for a hookup or fwbs shit. I mean theres a chance out there she would find some guy that likes chubby chicks or chicks that look like Danny devito in the face, but once he found out how she was I think he would be like hell nah.

My best friend's ex-wife was basically like this. She spent his money like water, even after circumstances forced him into a lower-paying job. Then she started hanging out with the trophy husband of a wealthy executive "just as friends" and saying idiotic things like "he's just so much fun because he's able to relax." My friend was like "well shit, I'd relax too if I didn't have any fucking responsibilities and never had to worry about making money." And, of course, he knew she was cheating on him, but he couldn't prove it, so when they got divorced he ended up having to sell his house and give her half the money. He's way better off now. Got remarried to a much cooler woman and had a kid. But man that was a lousy period in his life.

@peoplez129
@peoplez129 3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't about needs/wants/expectations. It was about her being a miserable loser. A big problem is women don't get labeled by a lot of the words that men do. More women should be called losers. Live at home with your parents at 25? It's "cute" or "understandable" if you're a female, but a loser if you're a male. No, these women should be treated as losers too. Just like Jack Nicholson said about writing women soo well in that one movie...."I think of a man and I take away reason and accountability". And that's the problem -- accountability. She gets to cheat, gets to blame everyone else but her, gets to relish in it, and then gets to write an article about it, completely oblivious of the concept of accountability. Where accountability should be, there is instead a desire to be validated. That's what terrible people do. Everything terrible they do is validated rather than accounted for.

There is this weird trend of women around that time thinking that they can relive their college years. Much of what she wrote concerning her affair is exactly what I hear married women say when they are talking about younger guys they flirt with. The ax-grinding usually comes into play because these types always end up alone when what they truly want is companionship while their exes (the one they left and the ones they cheated with) usually are either remarried or are in some long-term relationship.

This whole scenario reminds me of those people who steal from malls and stores not because they need to survive, but because they feel the rush and liberation of doing something they know, deep down, is morally wrong.
@omega1231

The most important thing about that analogy is not that someone deep down knows it's morally wrong (morality is subjective, a kleptomaniac doesn't see stealing as morally wrong, they know it's illegal - which has little to do with morality) but that it's such a petty thing, even if you get caught most likely you'll get reprimanded and fined, it's a safe way to get your rocks off thinking you're doing something "dangerous"

They probably don't want to talk to their partner about how they are unsatisfied with their sex life, because then it would mean that _they_ are part of the problem and need to take responsibility for it. Dude I work with had his wife pick up everything she had in their home one day and took the kids, leaving him with nothing but the family dog. Turns out she was fucking the "guy of her dreams" behind his back while he was at work, and this guy convinced her to move in with him with her kids so they can be a "family." About 3-4 months later, the guy kicked her to the curb and she had to move back in with her parents. Her one son can't even look her in the eye any more because of what she did (she blamed everything on their dad, not her own actions) and asked to live with his dad/my co-worker. She's trying to get the family back together, but neither my co-worker or her son want to run the risk of her cheating again and ruining everything. I felt bad because my co-worker had legit given her and the kids the world (and he always complimented her and got her whatever she needed), and she repaid him by being some dude's side piece.

No dude of any value would hitch his wagon to this broad. On one hand, men are lucky that our attractiveness is correlated with our maturity. Like we can be 46 and find a woman if we've built ourselves up right. But OTOH, imagine being 21, and having all the tools you'd need to find a high earning and handsome man who will take care of you for life as a result of no work, and blowing it.
