Yes, they were right out of the box when we made that fan trip. A train left North Van one morning taking forever to make any progress. Turned out one of the new GE’s had one of its trucks wired backwards. It was set out at Horseshoe Bay and the train continued on its way. Thanks for your comment.

@@TheBCRailfan the c40-8m ah yes, know as the alco killer. These 22(now 26) locos replaced almost the whole bcrail M630 and M630W fleet. Also have you ever noticed The bell mounted air horn looks sick!

The third unit in the consist BCOL 4609 is the last active cowl on the CN system and 1 of only 2 running dash 8s crazy to think it’s been active for almost 33 years

I kinda wish that BCOL kept the K5Ls of the C40-8Ms on the Roof brackets rather than re-stationing them on the hoods. Made the ENGs look much more classy.
