"Jeepney" or commonly known as "Dyip" is the most common, most widely used mode of transportation in the Philippines. It is a shared vehicle for friends, families, and even strangers. From its distinct sound when it hits the road, to its festive vibe embedded on its painting, this famous public transport is reflective of the country's culture, arts, and most especially, its core. Like the jeepney, the national presentation reminds us to create, serve, and move forward.
Travel the 7,641 islands of the Philippines through its main islands; travel north, Luzon, travel central, Visayas, and travel south, Mindanao.

Ang ganda ng mga tinig ninyo 😍, nice play po, the history and the meaning of the songs, lalong lalo na sa mensaha about "Ok lang, Okay lng sa amin" ( hindi ko alam ang title ng kanta 😅) sana may cover song 😍.... Napaka-authentic ng mga Filipino 😊songs. Ngunit yung mga costumes dapat i-improve pa. Siguro gahol sa panahon at kulang budget. Pero ang gagaling nila lahat! Ang pagiging Palaban at umaapaw na talent ay ayaw paawat. 👍🥳

I don't know why youtube recommended this content but this is my first time viewing videos from SSEAYP. More than a decade ago, I also applied for the program, got all the requirements, interview and everything but I was not lucky enough to be selected to represent the Phils. 😁😁😁Having seen this video, now I know why I was not chosen, lol!!! Kudos to the participants!!! You are a bunch of super talented and intelligent breed, good job on representing the Philippines!!!

The sound is not even like a gong sounding instrument & playing actual gong is not as easy as you think While those clothes are Not costumes it is a traditional 'attire' w/ intricate designs that you cannot just buy anywhere or even make. And you know WHY, Yours is almost vanishing & Igorot are rich in culture. try the ilocano one you can probably just make your own or just buy in the market as it looks so simple.

such a rude audience, maybe it's okay to call on the names of acquaintances/friends from among the performers, BUT to laugh at those wearing "bahag" is downright rude... that is our culture and these so called Asean delegates have to learn "respect"...

Mga representantives jan. may mga breeding ang pinili dumalo jan ng ibat ibang bansa.. they are their with purpose.. hindi basta basta lang ung mga piniling tambay ung pumunta jan.. Masyado ka lng sensitive.. lahat ng bansa sa asean may mga tribe na nakabahag.. familiar sila sa ganyan.. wag sensitive.

Its a fun night of performances,...audience were just drawn to participate and be part of it all.....not RUDE...they were proactive and joyfull bunch of youths....listen carefully those who were shouting are pinoys , supporting the performance , giving them energy...

I don't understand, Why is the Cordilleran cultural dance way too different, the instrument/sound doesn't even sound like a gong & the dance is......off, doesn't even honor/respect the people it came from👎
