47-54/55.1 Chevy Shortbed S-10 Conversion Kit Install: Segment 1

Quick run through on installing the brackets for a 47-55.1 Chevy shortbed pickup on the Code 504 S10 Conversion kit.

If you’re able to do a frame swap you should be able to make your own mounts. I swapped a 56 Chevy truck body onto a 1981 Chevy truck frame with very little fabrication only took an hour or so...save your money and buy something special for ya baby!

I wish these S10 chassis kit videos would tell you what the kit does regarding body height on the frame. Some kits seem to raise the body higher above the top of the frame rail than other kits. Makes it difficult to make a decision to buy a kit.

Don’t know if the cab of a 3/4 ton 1951 Chevrolet would fit with your kit? My frame is different from a 3100. But the cab looks the same

Yeah I got a problem I got a 2000 S10 frame that we put the code 504 on they welded the rear bracket on the rear of the frame that says code 504 on it we will know how do you set the man of a 50 Chevy on it if you can send me a video of that part that be great otherwise we got a problem we can't seem to figure it out thanks

when we convert or change the frame on a 47 chevy truck to a S 10 frame how do i title this truck because the serial numbers are stamped on the frame of the older truck and no where else

There's no straight forward answer. It varies from state to state. You will need to visit your local DMV and get info on "manufactured" vehicle/title. Just let them know a general idea of your build or rat rod and they will get you in the right direction

Guys.....this is Bob Gordon.....I've been waiting for 10 weeks to receive my gas tank and mounting kit....why? Nobody from your office seems to know how to communicate with your customers! I've tried every possible way to get in touch with you guys and it's been complete silence from your end....why is that? Don't you have a customer service department?
