the difference between hip hop and other genres is that all other genres die out when they start to make the same music, but hip hop is always changing. The sound of today will not be the sound in the next 2 years.

XXXTentacion was a rapper that could do all genres succesfully. I feel like the people that didnt like him, aside from his legal issues, didnt like him because they hadnt first heard the “genre” that spoke to them. Most people heard him because of Look At Me, so everyone assumed he only made that type music..i

About 10:00 Master P says something about Hip-Hop being A young sport (it isnt A sport to me), his logical defense is equivalent to saying anyone "younger is more effecient" in any situation because he's talking about youth being advantaged. Pretty vague.

damn i never knew vince was so narrow minded. and everyone in the comments thinks hes smart just cuz hes talking fast, and talking over everyone. this guy didnt start listening to music until he was an adult. he only started to care about music cuz he saw money attached to it, talking about people are only doing it for the money. Thats why the music industry is the way it is. Cuz of guys like this just doing it for money and not for the art whatsoever. We're the same age, and I'm white. We grew up with the internet. Once i learned about hiphop when i was like 9 I started doing research on older artists immediately. I grew up on the east coast. I was getting hip hop from the west, south, midwest, everywhere. He thinks just cuz the small little hood he grew up in did nothing but gangbanging that there wasnt black/white people just a town over that was just going to work and listening to music LOL. Like he thinks his hood is the whole country or some shit, even all of california. Hiphop wouldnt have even made it off the streets if white people all over the country wasnt listening to it. Everything this guy is saying is insane. And dumb people just hear that he doesnt shut the fuck up for two seconds and theyre like, wow hes smart. Even everyone in the room missed everything he was actually saying cuz he was just talking non stop non sense.

Kind of insensitive to label a genre with a race. Like do you think only black people suffer? Kind of selfish. People don't even know my country's name till they google it but cause I'm white I'd get looked at like I ain't been through no shit. I really hate this race thing.
