FACTS. He basically always makes the best points and outwits everyone in every conversation he's in (based on every interview or dialogue i've seen him in on YT). It's crazy how he does it.

DJ Benton he's right. It's usually people slow down their speech. But in Vince case he started talking faster. It comes from not talking as a kid and having a lot of thoughts but never saying them. So he speeds up to prevent stuttering and just says what ever what ever comes to mind. Yet he still have his moments when he hesitates. Mine was the other way around. I use to talk before I think and stuttered all the way through elementary and middle school so I slowed down and don't really have that problem anymore.

Vince and Joey are actual geniuses when it comes to hip-hop. They have very profound points that are rooted in personal experience and I found myself nodding my head too. No disrespect intended for Styles, but he seems more like a “I’m a veteran and this what hip-hop is because I’m a veteran” type of guy. I think in 10 years Vince and Joey’s impact will be more apparent on hip-hop than Styles’ is today. Nonetheless this is an awesome podcast!

They tried to dead the convo probably a good 3-4 times but it was just so enriching that they couldn't stop it. That's the power of our music culture. Rock is literally holding on by a thread and rappers are literally adapting the old model of being a "rockstar", and running with it in a new, fresh way. It's so dope to see that in this era of Hip-hop, that we can see our generations bridging the gap. Cause to me, Nas, Jay, and Rakim should be heard and respected, as well as the Joey's and Vince's of this era. Bravo Joey and the people at Tidal that put this together 👏

Vince Staples is a pseudo intellectual that has to constantly defend his lack of Hip-Hop knowledge by both vaguely and falsely making reference to other genres of music to sound more culturally informed. Ya'll are just stupid.

I'm loving these conversations we are now having about Hip Hop from all different ages. I like the fact there was about 40 years worth of Hip Hop culture in one room, and everyone brought validity to the topic.
