Oh no! You could have kept that lamp, the wire thing that is currently on there is called a harp and can be removed (you just squeeze the two sides in towards each other to release the tension) so it can be converted over to accept the type of lampshade you got. :)

Please please please tell me you did not get a new lamp!!! You take the top screw part off at the base where the light bulb is, and to put the new shade you have to take the bulb off and put it where the bulb screws in

Love your cozy design and super cute style! I can’t help but feel like your space could be arranged a little different though to create more open space that you mentioned loving when your dresser was out of the room. My suggestion would be to turn your bed 45° so that it’s headboard is against a side wall instead of under the window (I’d put it on the same wall as the desk under the plants so your bed is still the focus when you enter the room). Keep both those cute nightstands though! This will give you room to move your dresser closer to the window and opposite of the bed give you more room around the door just like when you didn’t have a dresser there. Obviously you know how your space set up works best for you, but I can’t help but feel like turning the bed will make it feel more bright and spacious!

I think hanging some blue drapes next to your bed would be so pretty and make the room feel cozier. Otherwise really nice job. What you could also do is try to bring in some more of the colors that you have . in your rug in like little accents. Love your channel xo

Love these types of videos. When you do it vlog style, I recommend you hold the camera more still or shake it less. A couple of my friends are watching this on the tv right now, and we have headaches from how much the camera pans up, down, left, and right. Kind of see a stabilIzer, but the sudden jerks are a little dizzying.

You could have taken off the things that raise the lamp by taking the bulb out and squeezing the raised things together to pull them out. Then put the lamp shade on and a bulb on top like you would the other lamp.
