Crazy that we have been watching and listening to Rich for 12+ years, and yet here we are, still listening. The impact he had, and is still having on the sport / company of crossfit is almost immeasurable. His gym is full of everyday people getting fit and elite athletes training for peak competition. Nowhere else like Mayhem. Also, Saxon is an awesome dude for his perspective. Thanks for the video Hiller.

i think a lot of non-hiller followers will see this and be like, "damn Froning sat down with hiller? that's crazy..." but after following Hiller for a while now and when people realize he's actually not the "CrossFit Troll" that people have made him out to be: he's just interested in providing content by having the most honest, raw discussions about CrossFit and the people who've made their name doing the sport.

Samethin happened with the AWESOME HALEY ADAMAS piece Andrew did. Athletes would be smart to lean in and take part with Hiller & The rest of the SEVAN crew in the space. It is the saving grace for media content to keep the sport relevant from all angles. They do so may different things. NO ONE TRICK PONIES with that crew.

So I am just going to say that this is what crossfit has actually been missing as far as media and everything goes. I am a huge mayhem fan and do their programming. To see the behind the scenes of everything was what many of us wanted/needed. You sir have carved yourself out of the rest of the media in crossfit and have set a new standard for delivering content. If you go back and watch some of their previous content "the barn" is a sacred place that only a select few got to be invited to, even when they were training. Granted yes I know that the new athlete gym takes away from that but still to be invited there is significant. The fact that many of them knew who you were and what you were about but still being the honest and receiving they were is amazing as it shows respect for what you are doing.

This is so great Andrew. Thank you for creating and sharing. Love the depth, intentionality and purpose that you craft in these conversations. Love hearing Saxon speak about OG culture and connection to methodology. I've noticed a shift in culture from when I started in 2009 and being in multiple gyms over the years. The culture has changed and it is frustrating to watch the younger generations of both games athletes and every day people in the gym not encourage each other through the end of workouts, learn the full methodology and understand why this sport is a special community. Appreciate more of this type of content from you and the "text thread media gents". Big thank you.

@HotTagWrestling everything I've seen of HWPO shows basically an empty gym. Matt comes across as someone who isn't into promoting crossfit or the community. Mayhem looks like the complete opposite.
