48 Hours in Cartagena: Colombia's Golden Coastline 🇨🇴

Cartagena was our final stop in Colombia, and it surely didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed fresh seafood by the ocean, strolled colorful streets in Cartagena's Walled City, and swam in crystal clear waters at Playa Blanca (a short drive from Cartagena). After being immersed in Colombia's lush green mountains for two and a half weeks, the golden coast of Cartagena was the perfect end to our time in Colombia. 🇨🇴

I have a kinda “rating system” that I use for your videos, and so far, I’ve discovered that there are 4 tiers to attribute to the absolute brilliance of your awesome body of work : 1) your personalities are the most dominant thing that stands out the most. Your bubbly exuberance is very addictive. Your flawless narration definitely puts us viewers is a state of ease! 2) THE FOOD…to have such a limited budget, you two eat some of most marvelous, if not extravagant dishes. I really look forward seeing what you’re gonna eat next! 3) Some of the places you visit are absolutely BREATHTAKING! Many of your drone views leave me breathless, and awestruck… 4) your music selections are very much on point for the overall mood of the locale you’re showing! Obviously, you possess an Artistic inner eye, that many do not have, or have yet to hone! Congrats on the big 5 0! My dad just turned the big 6 0! We actually are 23 now (our birthdays were in June) and time is FLYING BY. Before we know it we're gonna be 50/60 looking back at everything we have done. Thank you for your consistent encouragement Robert. Not a day goes by where we don't have a doubt in what we are doing, but we can't image ourselves doing anything else. All I can say about this video is, thank God I'm at the beach right now! It is not a beach in Colombia, but a beach nevertheless!!! I loved this city!!! That was a BEAUTIFUL fort! They don't make them like that here in the US! Can't wait to see where you are next!!! Safe travels!

I don't usually commit just hit like but I have a few times in your videos. I found your channel in may when looking for recommendation for Portugal lisbon and I've just been binge watching. I'm a mother of 3 youngest 18 oldest 23 I would love them to travel after college and experience everything. we are Irish living in Ireland and it's quite cheap to travel europ from here, as a family we have gone on many holidays and now this year deicide to do city breaks so as many capital cities. it is financially easier now as my 3 children are financially looking after themselves although still living at home so pay for themselves from this year when we've going away . your 2 lovey people and from what u have shown of your family's they are aslo lovey and supportive. I'm sure they are very proud of u.

I can't believe anyone would post negative comments! You two are so much fun to watch; the photography is beautiful; the countries are wonderful. Q: were you ever nervous about eating street food? I've been to Nicaragua and Honduras and our hosts pretty much "sanitized" our food making sure we didn't get sick. I'm sure it wasn't as authentic as it could have been.

Hola! A great ride through Columbia - I got the first letter correct from last Peru video - the vivid colors throughout the various regions is amazing. Great work to pick it all up and to verbally take us along for the journey. I really enjoy the culture and sort of street vibe of the countries I visited and I think you two have great personalities to begin to get more involved with that mix - and easily be welcomed in - the tourist type stuff is a plus but you eventually learn and one day reflect upon the culture you got to experience (and you have the opportunity to bring others along). Looks like you are having such an amazing time in S. America. I did notice you drinking with plastic straws. So, I did some research to see what Columbia is doing about this and they are starting to not offer them in restaurants but not everywhere. Something you two could do to set an example for helping the environment is to either don't use them or carry your own personal non plastic straw. We are doing it here in California. Thank you so much for writing this out and offering a solution. With all the traveling we do, it definitely can come with a lot of waste. When we ate at the restaurant, they offered paper straws, but when we got them to-go they were sadly plastic. We'll try our best to keep this in mind as we move forward.
