This is the last video in the 48 Hours in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This time, the main focus is on the temples. There are literally hundreds in Chiang Mai but these are the 3 I would recommend as they are a bit different and unique. We will also travel to Chiang Mai's largest wholesale fresh market. The drone flies with fury in this episode, so enjoy!
Here are Google Map Pins so you can find all the places featured:
Muang Mai Fresh Market: goo.gl/maps/jm...
Wat Suan Dok: goo.gl/maps/CF...
Wat Umong: goo.gl/maps/rm...
Wat Chedi Luang: goo.gl/maps/XD...

As someone who has travelled throughout Thailand for over 20 years I have to say Chang Mai has never been on my list of places to go .... how wrong was I ! Stunning and not what I thought just had visions of lots of pretentious expats . On my list in the future . New to your channel enjoying it very much 👍🏽

The last temple Chedi Luang is especially lovely in rain season as the base fills with water and is truly stunning. Right in the middle of old city also and not out of town like Doi Suthep (mountain on the hill with stairs (there is a cable car for people unable to walk up the 500 steps))

Great series of 3 videos, which truthfully left me wanting for much more. I think the content in these three video was so packed that you could have easily have done twice as much. Just as I was getting into a particular section, then you were off to something else, so my feedback is that you could have either have split into 6 videos, or doubled the length of each to 20mins. I don't know if that fills you with dread or is music to your ears, but that's my honest feedback. The giving back component of the channel I fully support and I think ethically it is what so many more people could be doing and I applaud you for taking that approach. I'm interested to see the potential it has as the channel grows, to develop into even more grander (in scale) support to worthy causes or people in need. Overall, well done. Great job, good content and selflessness that we can all learn from. May 2021 see even more growth in the channel and more interesting journeys along the way.

Hey Chris, it could be me but I think the drone shots from 5:30 look shot in the wrong FPS, causing that stutter. (Could also be fast shutter speed not helping, but I'm not a trained eye) 😁 Part 3 was so nice though!

I think you miss out a real gem in Chiang Mai. The real beauty is not in the city center, but you should travel to the outskirt cities; e.g, Mae Rim, etc........ For example, you can do "Samoeng Loop" and "Mae Hong Son Loop" (Feel free to Google both of the loops). Basically, you'd be cruising along the mountains highway around Doi Inthanon national forest. You'd be finding many waterfalls. There're plenty of restaurants those set up table in the stream. There're so many coffee places overhanging from the cliffs. There're botanical gardens, zip-line, etc..... So, next time, put those into your bucket list.

@@gmacmacpher9698 Thx, I've just checked it out. Not sure if u guys completed the loop. I like those waterfalls along highway 1096, in Mae Rim district. However, I think u didn't have enough time to take Chris up on to Doi Inthanon. Close to the peak, there's "Angkha Nature Trail". It's pretty awesome.
