I don't want to be annoying, but if your next place to visit is San Juan, there is Del Bono beach on Dique de Ullum. In the south I recommend traveling between all the towns because the most famous is Bariloche but there are others like Traful, for example. Even Villa la Angostura and many lakes to see can be visited in Patagonia and the best time is autumn (some people choose winter because they love the snow ,I recommend it in autumn, because the forests are wonderful).Even the southernmost place(Tierra del Fuego) has beautiful landscapes. I could recommend you La Cumbrecita, Vllla General Belgrano and Paso del Córdoba to visit in autumm but they would deviate a few kilometers of your wine route. The wine routes finishes in Patagonia but you could taste chocolates(there are a lot of varities), forests fruits ,trouts ,curanto and beer(even artisanal). PS: some people likes vacio in asado but theres not the only part and if you don`t like vacio or ribs(less fat than vacio) you can choose entraña.Its a thin cut without fat. Asado consists in many parts and even some people eat it with chimichurri or salsa criolla.Thats why it`s more popular, cause exists a part for any palate.

Yes, that asado looked terrible by any standard. It looked dry and hard, like it was overcooked. You should try somehwere else because any average asado made at home is better than that, so the fact that they served it at a restaurant makes it even worse. And the empanadas didn't look great either, they looked oily and soggy. So, just a bad restaurant overall. I'm sure you'll enjoy the food much more if you try other places. In Patagonia you have to try the lamb, which is a very traditional food in that region. The lambs are lean because they roam the Patagonian steppe and mountains, so they exercise a lot. It's not as greasy as lamb from other parts.

Hello travelers, I hope Mendoza treats you well, excellent wines and also food, you just have to ask the locals and not the lodging receptionist; I saw that they were in Salta, they tried wines and they didn't like them very much, the thing is that they are high altitude wines, the highest in the world, whose vines have thicker and more intensity, more astringent tannins, the Colomé Winery is 3000 meters above the level from the sea, they are grapes that receive a lot of sun during the year and just a couple of weeks of rain and drip irrigation make more powerful wines. Mendoza has a different climate, although it is mountainous but the vineyards are lower, the vines may be the same but the altitude and terroir change them. Enjoy and ask about places where foreign tourists do not go but locals, you will be surprised, greetings.

Hi 👋 thanks for all these tips! We did like the wine in Salta especially at El Esteco but just not at that one winery 😅 we actually felt like there were no other foreign tourists in Mendoza (where we went at least). We will also be doing a wine tasting in Mendoza, that video will be out on Sunday and it’s funny one 😆

@@MaxandJacqueline In Salta, to comment on a reference, at the San Pedro de Yacochuya Winery, none other than Michel Rolland (creator of Champagna Cristal) is advising on the Torrontes strain to make champagne; It is not high season in Europe to travel to the south, so much of it is concentrated in Buenos Aires. Something picturesque are those canals at the edge of the paths, they are called acequias, they are to carry water, they were created by the Huarpe people since pre-Columbian times, the Jesuit colonizers adopted them since Mendoza is a desert. I look forward to the weekend video of the tasting, so you can enjoy good wines and good, friendly people. Enjoy and eat well.

With a passive income of about €1200 per month, i am seriously looking at staying in Arg for at least 6 months per year. I have spoken to a UK expat who has lived in Buenos Aires for many years and he told me that away from the best areas of Buenos Aires , it is easy to live on €1200 per month including renting a small apartment, food , public transport , mobile phone and internet . Mendoza i read online is the Wine growing area in Arg and it looks like a great place to spend a few months each year. I was also told that Mar Del Plata and San Luis were also good value places to live with plenty to do , even for people in their 50’s like me ! Thanks for sharing…….
