I love solo traveling now. TBH it was a real eyeopener for me. My first real Solo was in 2023. Went to London and a Perfume Concert there. And 2 weeks ago came back from Japan (2nd trip but first time going solo) visited Tokyo, Sendai (and 2 day trips I the region for example Yamadera) and Aomori then to Yokohama and Narita and back 😃

How brave of you to travel to France on your own! Paris is one of my favorite places, and you did it justice with your well executed video. I really think Paris is a city that works well for a solo traveler. Thanks for sharing!

Love that you're having fun traveling solo! I'm hoping to do a solo Japan trip sometime soon and go to all the random places i've always wanted to go without worrying about whether a travel partner will find them interesting

This was super relaxing! I loved how you went to the Musee de L'Orangerie, that's definitely a bucket list place for me!

I'm so glad you had a good time in my home city! I'm originally from the US (CT) and moved to France 15 years ago - I love watching what it's like to live in Japan through your channel and it was so cool to watch you explore the city/country I adopted so many years ago! Also, the temptation to sit in a cafe/park and day drink/read all day is indeed very great 😂

1:57 No! Eating a sandwich jn the park is actually incredibly Parisian! The French love picnics and a park bench picnic is perfect. You chose well.

Wow, Paris! You really caught the cool Paris vibe. Glad it was good to you! Can't wait for the valley. My sister solo travels a lot and really enjoys it. She's been to France, Italy (her fav in Europe) and Britain. Recently she's been traveling to Japan and can see why one of our aunts visited every year. So much to see. She also wants to visit South Korea too.

@@AllisoninTokyo I was actually in Japan for a few weeks this summer. I guess I'm just about readjusted to work life again 😕. I actually discovered your channel after I returned, but you've been added to my favorite KZbin channels. I used to live near Osaka, so I can relate to a lot of the experiences you've shared.

I was supposed to be coming to Japan on my own in March next year and I was pretty excited to go on my own, go at my own pace. But my friend is now coming along with me because they really wanted to go 😅

I am heading to Paris on my first solo trip in 2 weeks and I am so nervous! Thank you sharing your experiences it's great knowing you had a good time - I got to ask though what do you do with yourself at the restaurant? 😂 I want to go to one but like, do I just take a book for when I wait for my order? And after??? Feels weird just silently eating... idk XD

This is awesome, I don’t mind traveling alone, but I do worry about the language barrier in foreign countries. Thank God for Google translate nowadays lol Also, I was gonna say I hope your family is doing OK from the hurricane. I’m in Orlando right now at Disney World and it was wild.

Mmmmm yum 🤤 all the sweets look amazing, man you can not get freshly-baked and reasonably priced yummy croissants and other baked goods here in the US 🥲 I feel like Panera is maybe the closest thing (though kinda expensive) and it's a drive to one vs Paris it's a stone throw away in any direction to a cafe 🥰💖 thanks for showing Paris, I can't wait to see the countryside too!!!

Also side note I did not realize Monet's water lilies were so BIG! Monet is my favorite painter so it's super cool you got to see his stuff in person 💖💖💖
