Oh HELL NO!!!!! That is insane!!! Claire, you are a rock star doing that hike with your fear of falling!!! I want to thank you both immensely for filming that and taking me along, because I can confidently tell you that I will NEVER do it on my own!!!! You are both amazing and brave! Thank you again for the wonderful tour of Zion!!!

Love Zion and Angel's Landing! Back in the mid '90s (in the pre-shuttle era) I lived nearby in Northern AZ and visited ZNP more than a dozen times. Even proposed to my partner at the top of AL! :-) And on another visit lost my keys at the top of the East Rim Trail but only found out after returning to the car. Had to hike all the way back up to retrieve them! It looked like you had a great time there. The views are just as amazing as I fondly remember them. Thanks for sharing your visit there. Hopefully you'll get to hike The Narrows in a future visit! :-)

Wow you have quite the connection to Zion! You going back to get your keys is almost exactly like what happened to me in Yosemite when I left my waterbottle all the way back at the top of a hike. We really want to do The Narrows when we go back one day! Thanks for sharing, Rich!

Zion is gorgeous! Love how you “plate” your food! Claire you did awesome! Love the time lapse of the stars. Watch out for the rattlesnakes..They have just come out of hibernation and will usually be sunning themselves on the rocks..AZ and Utah! Wish you could stop at Havasupi Falls in AZ ..but you need a permit which sells out in minutes! Google it! It’s a 10 mile hike in....camp and 10 miles hike out!
@ChadandClaire

Another great video! We had to take 6 weeks off the road to go back home to meet our new Granddaughter and for me to have a torn meniscus fixed. We are heading back out West on Monday. Thank you so much for doing these videos we will be doing some of your same locations for sure! BTW what camera do you use for your great nighttime campsite time lapses?

I know its kind of boring, but could you guys go over your emergency kit? Like when you had a flat, what capacity was the hydraulic lift and what other items you have for car problems? Maybe something on safety because the van is so small, so do you take all your electronics and valuables with you on hikes or have a secret place for them? Trying to get a sense as I'll probably buy one of these vans in the next few years.
@ChadandClaire
@ChadandClaire 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Callie! We should definitely add that into a future video. As far as safety we have a pair of jumper cables under the driver seat, we used the hydraulic lift that came with the van, and we also have a “AAA” membership. We do have a spot we hide our electronics, but we can’t disclose that to our public KZbin channel. Maybe after we are done traveling though! 😁😁
