48 HOURS IN THE GRAND TETONS (hikes, camp meals, and free overnight parking)

We have finally made it to Wyoming, and after spending some time over in Saratoga and Jackson, we headed towards the Grand Tetons. Everything in the park was breath-taking, whether it be the snowy mountain scenery, or the abundance of wildlife. We got two beautiful days in the park, and it was filled with amazing free camping spots, delightful camp stove meals, and peaceful hikes to remarkable destinations. Wyoming is off to an amazing start- we’re so excited to see more of it!

When my husband and I entered Yellowstone after visiting family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, we became surrounded by bison. They literally walked not more than an inch away from our windows along with their babies. Whew! A totally awesome experience.

We saw the most wildlife while traveling along the gros ventre river. Moose, elk, big horn sheep, black bear, fox, beaver, ground squirrel, grey owl, osprey.

Best video yet! It is all about location location location! The Tetons are amazing! Waking up to that view is unreal! You hit most of my fav spots! Gros Ventre Campground has big bull moose in it. Jenny Lake early morning like a mirror is hard to beat. Oxbow Bend in Fall is incredible. Fall at the Tetons is awesome. Now it must be north to Jackson Lake, Yellowstone Lake and another inspiring park! Lamar Valley has the most wildlife. Safe travels.

Ok, officially my favorite place that you visited. It’s stunningly beautiful, love the beavers. They were my moms favorite animals, that waterfall omg !! So beautiful, and again love the food you created Claire ❤️. I feed a wild fox nightly, it’s mom and siblings were killed by coyotes . The mom used to visit me daily, then she showed up with 4 babies playing in my front yard. There beautiful creatures too, the one you saw in the parking lot chad was so pretty 😊. We have red foxes here, I’m going to miss the wildlife here more then anything. I love snow it’s beautiful, but living in it gets old. Thank you thank you for this visit in Wyoming, it’s stunning 🌸.
