dear, dear Olive-of-the-Americas... you've become a luxury chick!! 😆☀ How can you possibly down-grade again to crumbling, self-indulgent Europe after this?! No, seriously - I've never imagined Florida to be like that - this feels like a fairy-tale, but not a plastic, artificial one, but an amazing and carefully designed master piece of architecture and inventiveness. I'm very impressed, and wished I would be visiting there too! But I also want to congratulate you to the standard of your video - I've complimented you before on that, but this one is also altogether an upgrade... the way you lead through it, your cut & paste, your music choices, your overall filming - fab-tastic! Even the Miami skyscraper line at night looked attractive (and you know by now, that I'm usually allergic to those)... maybe its the way they are shaped here, and how they are placed within the city centre. Your hotel looks amazing (I couldn't believe my eyes - this was way beyond my skeptical expectations). And the swimming pool with its natural water source and overall design - a dream!!! Olive - I take every ounce of your enthusiasm... I'm completely with you, from all I've seen! ...it brought back memories (of course) of my Californian venture... interesting for me was, once I did my first visit there, just for a month, I was very excited and positive and optimistic... 2nd time (with the marriage/green card option on the horizon) with the intention of staying, it was different - I struggled to feel home, or even imagine, that one day I might feel at home... there is something that I don't get about the Americans... they are very open and super-nice right away, but when I looked into getting deeper (and kind of 'more real' in my sense) I didn't find it easy at all... but I also don't want to project on them - maybe I was too deeply immersed in my 'European-ness' ...reflections... However - I LOVED this video, your happy self, indulging in those extra-vagancies, and surely regretting to fly home so quickly afterwards... a few more days would have been a dream, surely! Thanks for sharing this - it made my day!!! 😄🌈💦🏰🌟

Thank you so much for such lovely words! 💚🌴 Haha, it really was quite the downgrade returning to my Bucharest flat. 😆 But I have a VERY exciting trip coming up next week - a complete change of scenery! 🦁🏕 It’ll take a bit to edit and post though, but I’m sooo excited! 📸 Vizcaya truly blew me away, and Miami itself has such a unique blend of tropical nature, Latin influence, downtown skyscrapers, and Miami Beach, with its own vibe as a holiday resort area. 🏖 I totally understand what you mean about your experience in the U.S... it’s one thing to experience it as a tourist and another to try fitting in. I’ve noticed I naturally connect better with certain nationalities too. It just feels more familiar, and deeper conversations happen more easily. I noticed that on the Camino too, pretty clearly! 😁 Though there are always exceptions, of course! 😊 Thank you again for such a thoughtful comment! 💛🌞🌅
