Paddy, you did it again, making a wonderfully beautiful video of Koh Kood. My wife and I had a lovely and very relaxing 3 day stay in the middle of a 2 week adventure on Koh Chang. We found Koh Kood just as you described, very relaxing, laid back and not crowded at all, even during high season. We will return for sure.

I Visited Thailand in 2015 and 2006 and my best experiences was Ko Chang island and Ko Phi Phi island with combining a full day at Maya Bay (the beach movie done over there) I can't wait to travel to Thailand again. It is definitely one of the best places on planet earth for a relaxing vacation and awesome experience. In this video right now, gave me a taste of More and next time for sure I will visit Koh Kood island 🏝️

Paddy, another great video, thank you. We visited Koh Kood in 2020. We found that a bike was a must, as taxi /trucks were expensive and not spontaneous, when exploring. I omitted to tell my Thai girlfriend that I'd never driven an auto-scooter before. Just take it slowly. We found a great little restaurant, which we used for at least 3 lunches at a small resort called Rest Sea Resort & Restaurant. Hours passed as we ate / drank, just watching the sea and guests coming and going. You didn't mention that it's Thailand's last island before Cambodia. Yes, a bit of a trek from Bangkok, but worth the effort. We took a couple of interlinked buses. Great drone shots, Paddy.

Thanks Paddy for another great video of remote tranquil areas in Thailand... and especially providing a Google Map location pin.... so many YT channels clickbait for the "best beach in Thailand" and never provide the location of where they stay or visited during the video... Nice video Paddy! Thank you for showing our favorite Thai vacation spot. Because I don`t have a drone I don`t have such a good material to show but being there much more times I really know this island and I`m happy you liked it too. By the way it is much easier and cheaper to take private or shared taxi right from Suvarnabhumi to the pier and you`ll be there in about 4,5 hours and then 1,5 hours ferry trip. It`s more enjoyable in my mind. You can walk in several stops and have some beers or food or what ever you like, sunbathing on the top floor of the ferry with your own cold drinks and so on...

I absolutely loved Koh Kood. It was beautiful, and there were more Thai people there then farang, at least when I was there in Feb 2022. Like Paddy says it's just big enough to have something to do, or nothing 😁 The only drawback I encountered there were the sand fleas. They were numerous and abundant on all the beaches. I ran into a farang at the Deck bar that said he had a secret formula that worked wonders at keeping them away, but he wouldn't share it. Don't fall for traps like that.

Hi Paddy, Enjoying the videos so much. But how do you get such good rates for the rooms. I'm looking for Australia and coming in January for a month to Bangkok and want to do a few 3 night away trips. Looking at the Pool Villa keeps on coming up as over 21,500THB per night doesn't matter if I tried booking in January or next May. Is it because you are booking from inside Thailand???

No mention of Sandflies! Kod Kood is undoubtedly beautiful but is ruined by Sandflies. Both my wife and I were bitten all over after spending a day lounging at one of the beaches. Thankfully for some reason they left my daughter alone. These things are 100 times itchier than mosquito bites. Completely ruined our holiday.
