Love your content, been listening for a long time! Mine was the 3rd place Emerald/Amythyst deck, gave first place its only loss on the day. I doubt it’s a good list moving forward, but fox was included mostly to out daisy (which it did all day) and snake became a T4 play against amber songs decks. I’d commonly go usula2 on 2 to discard a song, John or Ursula3 on 3, then on 4 snake bounce ursula2 and replay her to get another song, setting up the big Ursula shift on 5. It started as more of a fun deck I planned on playing once, but it performed way better than I expected against meta decks. Thanks for the content!

I was the 8th place for the Lemon Lime deck! I last minute dropped 1 set of queen shifts for the sir hiss for the untouchable questing ability especially early game (unless against steel). Otherwise, UTS at 4 was way too much since you really can't ink or (want to) sing it early game. Ariel is also just digging so much that you're fine if it's just a 3x. I have been considering the slots of queen/sir hiss and figuring out what makes the most sense but I think what happens in this deck a lot is that it bricks to itself because of how many combo pieces it requires to set up. There isn't really much I'd consider adding to this from Set 5 (except the You're Welcome's). They just didn't really add much GOOD discard to Amber or Emerald this set.

Yeah for Ruby Amethyst either you play Flynn or you play Kuzco not both. I think Teeth can be played if you’re playing either because you can always teeth your snake or crab if you need to.

That first day was a lot of casual from what people from the event are saying. That’s why the decks are weird. The day two event with 171 players were some serious decks but they are not up on inkdecks yet
