Hi! Someone from 20lore pointed me towards this video. I am the second place RP player in the 9am competitive challenge, also with no set 5 cards. Those games were my first ever with set 5, and I intentionally chose not to play any set 5 cards. There were 3 elsas in the deck up until 15 minutes before start time, but I talked myself into just playing crabs instead and I think that turned out to be better most of the time. Against mufasa specifically i would have preferred Elsa. Library was a consideration, but it changed the play patterns a bit too much for my liking when i had no games and didnt know what to expect so i just left them out.

with steelsong, if you play 4 naveens, you would get more naveens than you think without any songs to play.

I run 4 Naveen and two pride rock since he’s a prince. It seems to work out really well and I rarely brick and always have a song to play

I really want to see a good Mufasa re animator deck. Bringing back daisy goof mulans back with perdita could be wild

I made a princess deck with Snow White again, worked decently. You could probably fit Mufasa in there since you are character heavy but you won't benefit as much hitting big off of it.

On the note of the Amber Emerald deck near the end, I absolutely agree with you. It's a line of play that is near impossible to out play. It's bordering on cancerous and I just dont see how it's fun to play against. Is it effective? Yeah. But it's still gross.

Really the best cards this set for us are Library and Elsa tbh.

Honestly I love Blue Purple but I'm struggling to see how it competes? I always get stomped by Blue Steel and Red Blue, it's not even close.

The RP list is teched way too heavy against steel song which then makes it lose harder against Sapphire. Lol

Ariel is card draw. Yes you want to whole new world wnd can with the Naveen but its all about options.

Laterns in Mufasa decks are not good. Mufasa misses kill rhe deck.
