Yes, the Prometheus lasers are basically as strong as LF4s, maybe a bit weaker (considering the Hyperplasmoids and stuff). But they've got a stronger attack each 5 seconds and deal way more damage to the Blacklight aliens (on the most difficult BL maps), so yeah they're essentially the strongest laser in the game right now. They can be upgraded to lvl16 as well.
