Most Americans seem to make a New Year’s Resolution to lose weight, so today, Sue Becker delivers some good news to those who feel that cutting whole grains from their diet may help them obtain this goal.
Sue reveals a study, performed at the University of Kentucky, which shows that by adding whole grains (freshly milled at home) to our diets, we are more likely to lose weight, while also lowering our cholesterol, correcting blood sugar levels, and reversing multiple bowel issues.

I was able to take my granola, raw milk and yogurt, fresh eggs and several freshly ground flour breads on the plane and share with my family on the west coast and it was a hit. Thanks so much Sue for all you do.

I really like this! 1 serving of cereal, 2 servings of fruit, 3 servings of vegetables, 4 servings of starch. This is very reasonable and helps reach your fiber goal with whole food. Now I need to find a reliable chart of serving sizes, preferably by weight. Do you have any recommendations?

I don't believe we have anything like that. Just eat real food and real whole grains, and your body will tell you when you are satisfied.

How would this work? If I eat many carbs, it interrupts my sleep and it’s like my body’s thermostat is over heated.
