I watched these as a child when first aired, and even now, the concept would make very good TV; being much better than the utter rubbish made these days!!

As a person who wouldn’t be born for a few years and grew up in the states I would never know this show if not for these uploads, thanks I enjoyed binging them a couple years back and revisiting some now, quite fun at times complex and times and always entertaining

I believe this was the last one transmitted. Probably wise to end it there as it was a cracking show especially the 75 series but was showing signs of being past its best by 1978, thanks for all the uploads happy memories watching some for the first time, others for the second time and remembering the odd one or two

And we're at the last episode. Thanks so very much for uploading this show, swimasfastasyoucan. It's been wonderful to revisit. I remember watching it every week with my Mum and Dad as we all tried to work out "whodunnit" that week.

This is a very poignant episode as it was one of the very last TV appearances of the great David Nixon, who passed away 5 months after this episode was originally transmitted.

I think this is one of my favorite episodes, it feels like an Agatha Christie story and the detective with the accent more feels like their verson of Hercule Poirot

And so ends an underrated series which went out as a quiet Summer Series (apart from episode 14 which went out on Boxing Day 1974.) with so many amusing moments-as already said this probably was a good time to end it as by this series they really were running out of guest panelists.(the key point being the same ones turning up twice in the space of a few weeks.)

In my memory of seeing the episode the first time, Bobby poisoned the honey not the tea bag and no one else tried to kill him

It's a pity that this series seriously ran out of steam towards the end, particularly because it consistently attracted a range of very talented actors to appear in the crime dramas and interesting celebrities as panel members; Jon Pertwee was an endearing host. It wasn't a good idea to include so many 'jokey', 'Christmas Special-type' episodes (particularly given that the programmes were almost all broadcast during the summer) and - as a talented writer - Lance Percival should have known better than to write himself into the show as a sub-par imitation Inspector Clouseau.
