Very helpful information. I’ve traditionally and self published for many years. One take away is that investing in marketing is an absolute must and something I wished I’d learned earlier. Running Ads can take you down a never ending journey of wasting money. Best approach is to run some Ads as an email capture and build a newsletter list. That goes with you anywhere. When you start in a market like kdp and its doing great you dont see many people publicizing but when the market slows they buy my course on how i made a great deal of money begins.. if you dont have a coarse then you begin with the affiliates to help keep that income rolling in.. nothing wrong with free enterprise but you have to run the numbers before hand.

Will using the free images we get from creative fabrica cause problems such as license problems in the future. I know that we cannot use these contents directly. We need to change a little bit. I have been suffering from visual problems since I started Kdp. I live in Turkey and the dollar rate is very high here, so I can't pay money to places that provide images. I couldn't solve the licensing problem with the free ones. By the way, I'm your big fan, I'm following you all the time. When your new video comes, I watch it with excitement. I learned many things from you. You are amazing.

I really like your way of explaining things! I was just wondering.. you keep saying this is a toddler ou child book.. But isn't also an exercise people do in physiotherapy after an accident? or people with permanent difficulties with articulations ou coordination? I couldn't find anything related to that on amazon. Yes, they can. You would normally have to purchase a new ISBN for those sites. You can't use the same ISBN that Amazon gives you.

Without seeing the pdf file you uploaded it's difficult to provide an answer. But it sounds like the dimensions or orientation of your pdf file is incorrect.

Hi Paul, love all your informative and great content! Since it appears that most book sales come from KDP do you think it advisable to distribute through them and their extended distribution as opposed to just letting them distribute through Amazon and get your own ISBN number and include like Ingram Spark? Perhaps their extended distribution would be just as good as extended distributors as Ingram as far as outside sales?

Extended distribution used to bring in a few extra sales but not a huge amount and even less since many books don;t qualify for extended distribution. Ingram Spark is certainly a good option.

When I create my own journal with some content on the inside, like daily actions, are the left and right page margin the same or are they different to accommodate the gutter on the inside. So left page right margin for gutter and right page right side margin for gutter...if that makes sense. Thank you!

Paul, you seem to be one of the most honest, helpful and sincere channels out here. It’s really hard to find them. I’d like to ask you about no content books, such as lined journals and blank journals. Does kdp still allow them to be submitted or are those two types of books so saturated that they’re frowned upon by amazon? Thank you!

The low content books are still allowed, of course. He even says it himself in this video, if you're new to start on a simple lined notebook. You just need to check the box and mark them as "low content book". Saturation sadly is everywhere on KDP atm and you can't do much to avoid it. Just try and see how it goes

It varies from book to book. Go to Amazon, look at the listings for the book you want to publish and see how many pages most of the books have.
