A very pertinent clarification. Mofongo is original from Puerto Rico. Lately we have seen insistently that incorrectly this dish is from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. The reality is that Dominicans who have resided in Puerto Rico have adopted this Boricua dish and have brought it to their country, modifying the original version. But the mofongo is BORICUA!!! We will appreciate it if you do not continue repeating incorrect information. Thank you.

thank you for the feedback and information! I'll definitely will not repeat the same mistake, sorry its my fault for not fully validate the information about the Mofongo! But again, thank you for the feedback!

Seems like you had a short trip. Shame… if you ever go back. I’d advise you to get out of San Juan and go on the many adventures PR has to offer. The many beaches.. hidden beaches.. natural pools… remote islands…rainforest… and my personal favorite the remote rivers and spectacular cave systems.. it will truly take you to another world. There are several excellent guides and excursion packages at very reasonable prices. After doing a 7 day cross island road trip…. San Juan is just an airport pit stop for me now..

Hi, the church where the wedding is taking place is called Iglesia San Jose, second oldest church in the Western Hemisphere. The first one is in Santo Domingo and it is not a cathedral.

4:12 I guess is same at the left side in the middle but wrapped, we call it "Tornillo de crema" (translated:a screw of cream?) And right side in the middle is very common here also: "Pastelillo de Guayaba" 4:27 that type of musical group is called "Pleneros" which play Plena(genre born in Ponce;city in the south side of the island).
