Great speech! Taiwan is an independent country and well performs on high-tech and humanistic literacy.. I feel bad that we always need to defend and prove Taiwan is a country.. hopefully soon one day we don’t need to defend our identity and don’t get bullied by China.. just act like all other free countries!

🎉 Michelle is a jewel of the RoC crown. Her voice & intonation is like running water -- crystal clear & surprisingly fluent.💧💦. The only drawback is that she should state clearly & explicitly on: One country 3 systems, as the pen-ultimate solution to the 5,000 years of Greater China history & heritage. Then both she & her Boss Lai can gain win-win from both sides of the TW Strait. In my humble opinion, her speech & charisma is only second to Obama 👍🏻🥈🏆 At the age of 52, she looks more like 32 -- sweet & matured. Wish that she could break away her bitter emotional-tie with her Ex, and develop another courtship with a new lover from PRC, in USA or even HK. 👩❤️👨 It will then help to change her resentment attitide against the ruling party of the PRC, and work towards the United States of China. 🥇🏆 It is a pity that, despite at 52, she still does not understand the fact that the American 🇺🇸democracy cannot be just adopted to China without adaptation 🇨🇳🇹🇼. But l cannot blame her cause half of her genes are American. 😰 FYI, my daughter is a mix pedigree too as my wife is from Russia 🇷🇺. I like her to grow up like Michelle, but love both PRC & HK. 😍🇨🇳🇭🇰 -- Sam 何 from HK (Prof. & Speaker~Oxford U.)

The media's revealed that this Ambassador Hsiao was dating a CCP Chinese student while she was studying in US years ago. She seems to want to forget the past and try very hard to get this anti-China thing not too personal.
@GuestG83 жыл бұрын
@@TonyChuPT I wish it's as simple as you said. Once the media brought this up, she told them she was young and then realized ALL Chinese not only lack of integrity but also untrustworthy. If that's what Ambassador Hsiao learns after breaking up with someoene for the innocent love, I am not sure if people should ever trust any words from her regarding China. So many hard working Chinese immigrant are currently living in Taiwan with their Taiwanese family. She and her party ought to be ashamed for their long time inmature comments against those good people.
@outestuniverse65692 жыл бұрын
Taiwanese have no problem with Chinese. They only have problem with the CCP controlled Chinese government which is an illegitimate regime which loses all Chinese faces. A disgrace for humanity.
She is brave but pathetic since US government won’t even respect the statement that Taiwan is a country. The narrative she cited “Democracy is not for Asian people” is also misleading, (which I believe she has no bases, can someone give me a reference?) in fact, I heard multiple times from Premier Keqiang Li that democracy is and should be universally valued in any modern country. The question raised by CCP is rather on bi party system, which is clearly shown problematic in some of the western countries.
@pkgonzela5362 Жыл бұрын
Ex-Premier Li Keqiang gave you the reference in Oct 2023. CCP has very low anger threshold toward him saying democracy should be universally valued in any modern country.
