I have some options to replace all those needless "Stargate" choices(Seriously, it wasn't that popular a show). Ahem!: Liutenant Coffey(Michael Beihn) in "The Abyss" knows he's seconds away from imploding as his mini sub, out of power is sinking further into the trench. Helplessly he screams violently and BOOM! Walt Kowalski(Clint Eastwood) in "Grand Torino" knows he's seconds away from being shot to death by a gang terrorizing his neighborhood that he's facing down. He puts a cigarette in his mouth and says a Hail Mary and goes for the lighter in his coat pocket and receives a hail of bullets dying to put them all in prison(he knows there's witnesses and he's actually unarmed). Logan(Hugh Jackman) in "Logan" knows he's finally about to die after hundreds of years of regenerating and surviving lethal attacks. He simply says, "So, this is what this feels like..." and dies. JB Books(John Wayne) in "The Shootist" is dying of cancer. An old gunslinger in the wild west, he sets up a final confrontation with 4 enemies in a bar and takes care of his last arrangements before walking into the bar for the showdown. The Duke manages to kill all of them, but is fatally shot in the process going out like the boss he was. Colt(Chuck Norris) in "The Way of the Dragon" is fighting an honor match to attempt to assassinate Tang Lung(Bruce Lee) in the Roman Colosseum. After a magnificent fight, Tang injures Colt's arm and breaks his leg. Knowing he's lost the fight, but can't stop because of the hit contract, he screams defiantly and charges at Tang, who puts him in a forward headlock and breaks his neck. It's epic and the only cinema fight Chuck Norris lost.

If y'all were not so focused on Stargate, you might have noticed some others . . . Chin Ho Kelley, Hawaii Five-O, "A Death In the Family" (not to be confused with the reboot series, Hawaii Five-0). In the tenth season finale, longtime core member of the Five-O team Chin Ho went undercover in a cell of a criminal organization whose leader was hungry to take over the overall Big Boss job. But when no less than three of the crooks ID Chin as Five-O, the cop has no choice but to try to make a break for it. He makes it about two inches before being restrained by the gang. The leader taunts him about his chances of success, and Chin, knowing that he is at the mercy of someone itching to make an example, just says that he had to try. The next thing we see is a vehicle driving up to Five-O headquarters, opening the door, and dumping Chin's lifeless body out on the street. Adric, Doctor Who, "Earthshock, Part Four:" Math genius Adric, trapped in a crashing spaceship 65 million years in Earth's past, realizes that there is nothing he can do to halt the plunge which will end in a blast powerful enough to destroy a significant portion of the life on Earth. The Doctor, finally regaining control of the TARDIS, realizes that he hasn't got enough control, or enough time to manage a rescue. As Adric helplessly watches the surface of the Earth rapidly approaching, he laments over a theory he had had. "Now, I'll never find out if I was right," he says, just before impact. Vincent Vega, Pulp Fiction: We know two things about Vincent Vega (besides that he's Mr. Blonde's brother): Bad things happen whenever he goes to the bathroom, and he and Butch hated each other on sight. According to a deleted scene, it was Butch who keyed Vincent's car after their first meeting in Marsellus' nightclub left a bad taste in his mouth. When Marsellus orders Butch to be killed, He himself accompanies Vincent to stake out Butch's apartment because his other top hit man, Jules, had already quit the life. But Marsellus is a kingpin, not a hit man, and he doesn't know the ropes as well. He goes out to get the pair a bit of breakfast, leaving his automatic weapon on the kitchen counter. Vincent, in the bathroom, hears Butch come in, but assumes that it's The Big Man returning. When Butch spots the gun, he realizes he isn't alone, and when he hears the toilet flush, he knows where his would-be assassin is. And he points the gun right at the bathroom door. Vince (having finished his reading of Modesty Blaise) opens it to come face-to-face with that guy whom he hates, and who hates him, and who knows what his intentions were, and the two stand poised for a long moment during which Vincent has time to realize that no "coincidence" is going to save him this time. A couple others have mentioned: Coffey from The Abyss, Merlin from Kingsman: The Golden Circle
