hey nice video once again! could you please explain what the main differences are with 86cc, 94cc, 95cc and 100cc for minarelli. normally i’d say the more cc = the more power but ive seen plenty 94cc beat 100cc scooters. I want to either get 86 or 94 but i’m not sure yet

Displacement doesn't tell the tale. All things equal, the bigger engine will win. It depends on basically the level of tuning. A high end race 49cc can beat a lot of 70 and over setups for example. Horsepower specs and RPM will tell you a lot about what you need to know. For example, my 86cc TPR was probably ~20HP. The 94cc RC1 is supposed to be ~30HP. There's only 2mm of bore size separating them (both the same stroke). The RC1 is a flange mount kit that doesn't fit normal scooter engines though. It is much more similar to an MX cylinder with more room for the transfers and no cylinder studs limiting port layout. You can get even wilder kits for it that rev around 16,000RPM where mine is around 14,000. Overall, you keep trading off reliability and manners as you lean more and more toward the race builds. A dual piston ring sport 70 isn't that fast, but you can ride one daily. This thing needs pistons and rings replaced on a regular basis and isn't meant for trips to the grocery store or work commuting.

I won't go that far, but I am tempted to try to make it wheelie less. I'd love to see what it does if I could hammer it on takeoff instead of slow rolling in. On the flip side, I like getting the wheel up from a slow cruise.

Your carb is way to rich on WOT and main jet and the 1/2 throttle and the needle pin position. Try first lower the main jet and find the perfect ratio and spark plug color and then adjust the pin on the needle. sure you will have more power and not the nasty prppp prppp sound of the exhaust.

It won't make any sounds at all after it puts a hole in the piston or traps a ring after being too lean.

@@rizo250 I went through a tuning process with a bunch of jets to get the best results with acceleration tests. Even with that, I was out last weekend and let off at 80MPH because the EGT was going too far over 1300F. It's always going to sputter at part throttle when it's out of the pipe's range unless it's a super lean tune. If it didn't sputter there, I'd richen it until it did because it would be way lean if ever on the pipe and using that throttle range.

@@49ccscoot ok , maybe its a case on this setup like you said , but its sound igly on 1/2 throttle or maybe not same in live and video . What is the powerband of the pipe and where is your top rpm ? 😁😁😁😁😁 sorry if i bother you but im 2T fanatic too
