Hi Barbara , Once you decide where you need to cut the Jean jacket, use your sewing machine and sew on each side of your planned cutting line, maybe sew back and forth 2-3 times then cut it down the middle. This should help the elastic from coming loose. Hope this makes sense. 🙂

If you find cutting your little jean jacket causes it to lose it’s elasticity in the ruffled part, you could sew the area you want to cut out, before cutting, and maybe help preserve the ruffle.

😊😊😊 I travel quite a bit so I now have all my books downloaded on my iPad. It was hard not having the feel of the book in my hands at first, but now I enjoy that I can alter the fonts (so no glasses 😂) and adjust the light at night so not to disturb hubby. Always fun to be in your company. Hugs 💕

I was the same about reading books but a friend gave me her mother's Kindle and once I started using it I fell in love. Font, brightness control and now the free trial on Amazon is another bonus. Downloading free books from local library is sometimes inconvenient if I don't want to get on my laptop.

Another idea for a case is a padded mailing envelope. Protects the kindle and can decorate the outside as you wish. Also does not scream expensive electronic if someone is peeking in your bag.

I admire anyone who has the courage to pick up a camera and upload their work to social media. It opens you not only to praise and encouragement but also criticism, adverse comments and the wide scale negativity that is unfortunately part of social media. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. It helped me to prep my July Bullet Journal. Although it is quite plan, I'm incorporating the goal page and a modified version of the activity record. My journal is really simplistic. Perhaps I'll start to embellish some of the pages with stampings or adding some affirmations. Most of my artistic adventures were in my sketchbook. Now, I'm exploring and beginning adventures with a mixed media art journal. I plan to incorporate some of the techniques and strategies you employ with your adventures with junk journaling. Thanks so much for being enthousiastic with your artistic journey. I learn a lot.

I went through the journey with e/books. When ereaders were first invented I IMMEDIATELY bought one, because I thought it was the best idea ever. Used one for years, upgraded to one with internet etc. and then suddenly, I was over it and went back to paper books. And now I just read everything on my phone 😂 The big advantage for me is, I always have my phone with me anyways, and I can use it in the dark. And a small phone is just much easier to hold. I think I'll stick with this now 😂

You mentioned how you’d like to have an actual 3D copy of your brother’s journal. Now that you have the small copy of your brother’s journal cover to keep in your journal, you could make another copy of it, add pages even if they’re blank, and add it to your tiny journal shelf. That way you could at least have a 3D copy of the cover. If you’d like the inside pages to match the original, I’m sure your brother would be glad to let you borrow it long enough to get copies of the pages. I’d like to see you have that. I know you’re proud of all the hard work, as you should be.

One hour, such a nice treat. I thought i would do things around the house, listening and watching time to time, but no. I just sat here one hour and was so funny! My relaxation hour on a free day is awesome! I am happy that your brother loved the journal (he had no other option because is amazing), a full circle, and great memories. I loved the books and the documents, but The book...i was speechless, staring at the pages. Such a good condition for her age, seventeen hundreds, wow! But the other books..."the tik tok sensation", well, i agree. For me was the poor writing, i don't know how to explain - juvenile, short phrases, the used of harsh words repeatedly, how the world is built. I get why is so loved by the young generation, is all they know in a sense that they didn't have the time to read older fantasy series, when fantasy was written for the love of writing. I don't know if you can use it there, but for buying cheaper books and of course various editions, vinted is particularly good. I wait a little after a book is published and i can find it there even for 1 euro. Ok, plus shipping, but is inexpensive. I don't feel so guilty if i don't like a book and i donate it afterwards. Your song is so funny, and nostalgic somehow, but very on point 🙃I love it! I loved the new kit - the ladies are amazing, and the planner part of this video, is such a different and beautiful way of planning. And even i am not planning like this anymore, is so enjoyable to watch. It gives perspective and new ideas every time. Well, i will stop here, but please know that was not over the place, on contrary - was very nice to have everything in one place. Thank you so much for putting all this together, for sure was so much work to edit! Is appreciated every time even if i don't comment always. I was really glad to see this planner video - I’ve heard a lot of you tubers say they still get nervous making videos even though they’ve been doing it for ages. I admire y’all that make these videos and provide inspiration for just about anything you can imagine. I watched til the end 😊!! I love long videos especially when you feel like you are just having a chat with a friend. Your voice is so calming and encouraging and your work is very inspiring. I made a planner journal about 2 years ago… I didn’t have a kit and kinda winged it getting a monthly view and the weekly view…. And then I was going to try to get 12 months into 1 journal - nope, wasn’t going to happen without it being like a 3 foot spine 😮. So I put it away and thought I’d tackle it another time. Now that I see how you’ve done yours - it’s like why didn’t I think of that! Lol. I am completely in awe of your planner journals and am definitely going to give it a try. I haven’t checked out your digitals yet but have seen them used in your journals so will be checking those out too. I could probably go on and on here, but I’ve taken up too much if your time already… thanks for sharing and being such an inspiration.

Look up a Fintie Stand case for Kindle, or stand case in general. I love mine. I've had i over 3years, and my covers never last that long. magnetic closure, stand and a strap to hold it. I never really wanted a case, I would never put it back, and the case I have keeps the kindle in good shape. My reading group finished the Throne of Roses series last month. I wasn't totally jazzed with it. The first book and probably half of books 3 and 4 were my favorites. I didn't even read 5. The first one does get better, but in my opinion the second does follow up, and even seems like a compoletely different writer. Love your new kit!

So I’ve worn out two Kindles. When the last one (Paperwhite) bit the dust, in desperation I pulled up the Kindle app on my iPhone and finished my current reading on it. And what do you know - I found that I preferred my phone. It fits easily in my hand, it’s always with me, and I can adjust size and lighting to my satisfaction. I read about 100 novels a year, so all those considerations matter to me. Just an option for others to consider. PS: LOVE this series and the feeling that we’re having a coffee and a chat together. ❤️

😊 I read physical books, use my kindle and listen to audio books! It just depends on my mood. Loved the video. Highly recommend The Taken Ones by Jess Lourey. SO GOOD! New kit is so pretty!
