I love Ephy, the best visitor for this month! I stumbled across last year's DEPHEMEREMBER a few months ago. I had never purchased digital downloads before because 1) I am old fashioned, give me actual paper to collage with & I had no printer. But the little dear was so cute, that I got the downloads and Staples became a frequent destination. I just went and printed some more recently so I could make his Halloween costume. I've gotten a lot of your and Luise's downloads. This year has been a year with many struggles with more struggles to come. Little Ephy and DEPHEMEREMBER have brought light and joy into a dark time. I absolutely love what this community stands for. It would have been my Mom’s birthday tomorrow and I lost her just before her 90th birthday. Certainly glad you kept Dephemerember in December. Since finding JunkJournaling it helps me through the darker month when I can't get into my garden. And Depehemerember is special as December is so bleak at times. (At least until Christmas Day) It occupies my mind. I'm more creatively minded than academic. And Depehemerember is the perfect outlet. Ephy stopped by here in the USA, Pennsylvania, to tell my beloved mother in law that Greece was as beautiful as she remembers as child growing up there! He even left some papers here from a store and a museum in Greece! It was a wonderful visit. Project to follow. !

This is lovely and I love the stories as always. I was not able to complete a journal last year as my husband of 42 years died in the middle of December. I used this prompt to remember him as my beloved visitor and the journaling card I made is extra special. As a young woman, I had a lot of pen pals. I recently found a box of letters from everyone I wrote to. I had no idea I still had them. I will be using them in my journaling. I really love the ephemera portion of junk journaling. Probably because I have thrown NOTHING away, LOL.
