You act like the offense didn't do their part and put the kicker in a position to do his job. 1 person missed that field goal, just like 1 ref made a terrible call that could have potentially effected the outcome of the game. Regardless of the team you support, packers for me, officiating CANNOT continue to be that bad in important moments like that.

You knew the refs were going to be bad all day after watching the first quarter. Browns called for a face mask on a punt return, NFL calls from NY to say it was the 49 who had a grip on the facemask. Replay showed this was an obvious miscall by the refs against the Browns. Then on the ensuing drive the Browns QB sneak on 3rd down, refs give a bad spot about half a yard off from where it should have been. They bring the chains out, the ball is clearly past the chain link and touching rod, yet the refs says its 6 inches short (a wtf moment). Replay is done and this obvious bad call is overturned.... then we get 3 more quarters of horrible refs.

Had a few bad calls against us be we overcame it, marched down the field and missed a FG. Wasn’t our day today. But the wheels haven’t fell off. This is the NFL!, only the ‘72 Dolphins 🐬 made it through the entire season, playoffs, and championship game unscathed. Realistically we are going to drop 2 or 3 games. Hitting a defenseless receiver by rule, is not ONLY hitting the neck or head, it is clocking a receiver senseless when he is in a vulnerable position, without the ball. Yes, replay favors the hitter, but the refs view this at full speed. I've seen worse calls than this! At game speed, it was a close call. Browns outgained the 49's in yards, first downs, rushing yards, and passing yards and made 4 of 5 field-goals. The 49ers missed a 39-yard field goal, and Purdy threw for 12 of 27 and missed wide-open receivers all day, which is why 49ers lost the game.

Browns defense is good and Purdy came through at the end. I would have liked to see another play before the field goal attempt. Officials were indecisive throughout the game, so not surprised about those last calls. The 49ers won’t use this as an excuse, they’ll grow from this.

Both teams had bad calls. Browns had a TD called back because of a bullshit holding call. And the only reason why the niners were in this game was because of an interception that gave the niners a short field. Oh and lets not forget to mention the Brown's were playing WITHOUT Watson, Chubb, Teller and Bitonio. You cant miss 2 FG and play lousy for 3 quarters and expect to win....niners fans need to stop making excuses and accept y'all got beat by the better team today...period.

Great to see the Browns win this game. Sure there were calls that gave them an advantage to get in position to score, but bad calls were made on both sides. Now hopefully this will give the Browns confidence going forward after the shellacking they got in two games earlier.

The refs in this game may have been terrible, but I DO NOT understand all the BS when it comes to that first flag. The defender launched himself with full force at a receiver who was in the air going for a ball. A "defenseless receiver". You are delusional if you don't think the refs are throwing a flag on that exact hit 90% of the time (or more) in today's NFL. The lack of a helmet-to-helmet hit is irrelevant. The receiver had no way to protect himself and the defender launched himself with full force at the receiver in mid-air. That is getting a flag almost every single time, regardless of the teams. And as a Browns fan, I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that EVERY SINGLE TIME a Browns defender has done something like that, we've been penalized for it. We can (rightfully) complain about how "soft" the NFL is getting, because it most certainly is, but IMO there were FAR MORE egregious flags thrown in this game than that one.

This was a such beyond a heartbreaking loss I have ever had to encounter as a 49ers fan at that particular game VS CLE. Browns. Missed kicks from Moody the rookie, Gipson Sr.’s penalty, offensive struggles, defensive struggles, pre-game scuffle, and so is Purdy’s worst game that ended our 15-16 game winning streak to be defeated this badly.😔💔 But give its credit to the Browns game of their brilliantastic defense. And just such a nerve racking feeling that it was a closest loss of a game like this.
