Normally after washing I have to oil 3days/wk to build up, afterwards once a week..This cream Whitney made gurl 🤦🏾‍♀️ set it and done only mist 💦 daily, taking protective style down jus 💦 and it reactives OMG ❤️ 🤗 Whitney did her thang~thang frfr. Oil blend I do (4) line both sides/middle, nap massage all on scalp done.. I ❤️ using after 🚿 as well.

I just purchased from Ulta and I too was so impressed. The leave in conditioner made my hair feel incredibly soft. The shampoo thoroughly cleansed all the gel and oils out the first wash. I didn’t feel like I needed to use a lot of the product to get the desired results that I needed. Whitney really did her research I should have known I’ve been watching her for over 10 years!!! 😀👍🏽

Your hair makes me so motivated to take my hair maintenance seriously. These products aren't available in my country but the techniques are still applicable to me so that's a win. Used the whole line for the first time and I have to say I’m sold!! The shampoo was stripping a little bit but my hair was still soft, not really tangled either like it normally does when I use a clarifying shampoo. I do wish it gave my scalp a lil tingle but the conditioner made up for it. The shampoo and conditioner pair well together🙌🏾🙌🏾 it just melted in my hair. I used it as a DC and as a leave in. I’ll continue to use it as a DC/leave in maybe add some steam like you said. Washing it out was a no for me though, felt like I was washing away all my moisture. The oil and twisting cream were great. I still have twists in my hair and they’re very moisturized 🙃

Definitely wanted to see a whole wash day so I’m glad you made this video and on kinky 4B/4C hair too. I’m glad Whitney made a point to note that her shampoo is clarifying and that she intended for her conditioner to pair really well and add the moisture back. I think a lot of people are testifying to that. I didn’t like the conditioner as a leave-in or styler but I did like it as a prepoo/ detangler before cleansing and as a rinse out conditioner/deep conditioner.

Lol I actually really like the stripped feeling but I also do a really good prepoo so my hair doesn’t get that stripped. I use regular head and shoulders because I used to get bad dandruff and itchy scalp. As long as I deep conditioner afterwards I’ve never had a problem with my hair feeling dry. I was and deep condition once per week

I have all of Melanin products, and my most favorite is the elongating cream and the oil. I only use the conditioner as a pre-poo so far. My hair did not respond well using it as a rinse out or leave-in conditioner. Now that I have the shampoo, I can't wait to see how my hair does using the entire system. Great positive video. I love how you don’t wash your hair in sections because that takes more time and the water should help not tangle the hair, no matter how thick and coarse and it helps to see on hair like mine that is thick and long but has shrinkage even during the wash.

HUN!!!! Y'all!!!! I wanted these products ever since she dropped them but never ever ever purchased them online. Honestly I haven't been keeping up with her vids like I used to. so if she even mentioned her products were at Ulta I never heard. I don't wear make up daily and don't know how to do it, plus I can't spend money like that so I don't go into Ulta. Hey Bubs! I have the leave-in but I can’t find a compatible gel. The mix test always fails. I love the smell though and the bottle size. Thanks for the heads up about Ulta selling it, because that shipping and handling price🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. When I need a good scalp cleansing, I either reach for my Alikay Naturals Moisturizing Black Soap shampoo or my Eden Bodyworks Peppermint Tea Tree shampoo...LOVE them👍. Your results are pretty. I find that you get phenomenal results with The Mane Choice and TreLuxe. Love your videos❤️.

And yes shipping was getting to be a drag for me too. and i love those shampoos as well, they both work amazing for my scalp and hair. and yes treluxe and the mane choice work well for me, i always love my results. but i do believe its about technique too!! having a good technique can almost make any product work.

Shampoos can work for any porosity in my opinion. I think you will be fine. Also Naptural 85 is high porosity.

What gets me the most, is that you wash your hair without doing sections😱...having longer hair makes that difficult for me these days😭. The Doux "Sucka Free" shampoo also leaves a SQUEAKY clean feeling (plus ya don't need much to wash with) but Following up with the conditioner absolutely does the job. I'm waiting to try the Melanin line (mine is in the mail)

That's what i was taught. ... looking at the ingredient list, i see sodium palm kernalate. That's the palm oil i mentioned earlier, but in soap form (the "sodium" part). So, as i said, the constituents of African black soap are, in fact, listed. But you on it, tho! 😂

I understand, but shampoos do clean the hair, maybe you need to wash it more than once or use a different shampoo.

@@BubsBee well for me I’ve tried every shampoo you can think of just doesn’t get it as clean as I need but the main reason I’ve started using apple cider vinegar was for shine & growth my hair has grown so much since I stopped using shampoo I’m a lil past mid back now I have 4b/c I also have less split ends now🤔
