I have seen some people like to GG at the beginning of a match as a sign of respect, not necessarily meant in a mocking way. I think they are interpreting "Good game" as something like, "good luck"

it's disrespectful regardless. It's like that time during a pro tour where a guy got blown out in game 2 and his opponent immediately went for the handshake when it was VERY CLEAR that dude was still fuming. It's an etiquette thing. If you think it's okay to be disrespectful because of an intent, then you need to improve your social awareness.

@@BobNinjaCat There is no "glhf" emote, so people use that as a substitute. It can be seen as disrespectful if you don't know about it, but to say its outright disrespectful is just wrong

People were really debating if it would be standard good, because I guess Vraska's contempt wouldn't be playable (at least thats the narrative I've heard). Card is cracked, and one of if not the best version of its effect with major upside.
