DIY: Prevent Rope From Fraying

Video tutorial on how to prevent your rope from fraying which can cause problems with tying and also reduce the integrity of the rope. In this video, two methods are shown which consist of taping the end with electrical tape or burning the tip which melts the fibers together.

Thank you for the feedback! You maybe able to use a heat gun as well, however I haven't tried it. It won't cause a fire, but at least hot enough to melt the material.

Where did you get the torch?

I bought it from a local hardware store, I think Home Hardware. It's about 10 years old, maybe older lol. But I have seen them available on Amazon, it's called Solder-It.
