Simple round of lyrics, but filled with a deep meaning. I've always tried to avoid any kind of drama, but relate to this song on a few levels. I'm sure everyone has heard this story or even experienced the event yourselves, and may try to deny it. Once had a high school crush whom I've had interest in for 7yrs and in my sophomore year I confessed my feelings for them. They took the time to think and gave me an answer basically saying that they don't want a romantic relationship with me and it would ruin our friendship. In a short summary, it can be difficult seeing someone you have a deep sense of caring for and they don't share the same feelings for you and want to move on with their lives like you never spoke about it. Kind of like how you try to push 2 magnets together that are facing at the same pole, you can always try to push them together but you can never be truly together.
