This was so very interesting. My heritage is half Scottish, so it really means so much to see where my ancestors may have walked!

Really enjoying the history tours. Wish I was closer to visit all those antique shops, what great deals.

Exquisitely produced and narrated. This is better than anything large production companies produce. And all before we even get a tour of the interior. Well done Katie and Scott.

I was born a Gilreath. We came from the Galbraith Clan. We had a family Clan meeting in Glasgow last year. We also saw Aberdeen, and Edinburgh. We plan a return trip soon. I found Scotland so much like the mountain that we live in here in Tennessee. Love your channel!

That Fort is truly impressive. The fact they could build it in still hostile lands without the big machinery of today is so impressive. I’m sorry I missed it on my way to Culloden. Now I have a stronger reason to return and visit.

It's a star fort. My ancestors came to America in 1850. Craigs, Crawfords, Bradleys, and others. I am close to half Scot. I enjoy watching the history and it brings home to me my heritage.

My mother was a MacDonald and her ancestors came over to the States in the 1800s through Canada. My grandfather had A genealogy going back generations, but it disappeared shortly after he died. I think my uncle got it. Oh well! I’m sure since the MacDonald clan is so huge, I will never know where my direct ancestors lived there. Thanks for your channel. I hope it all works out with your new cottage!

I am 77 and found out about 25 years ago that my biological father's last name is Christie. I am delighted to have Scottish roots and to learn so much about my Scottish heritage from your channel❤

We can hear the army marching, okay, at least Scott's boots crunching on camera 😅. Location is beautiful.

Wonderful scamper about the barricades! The grounds could be managed by a shepherd & their flocks, indoors a weaving school and all the machinery, mostly human powered looms like the Hattersly that they have at The Weaving Shed on Isle of Lewis. They have a youtube channel , too! 💖

I love the intro I am one who somehow always felt a connection to Scotland born and raised in America but I just loved Scotland during school I was glued to the teachers telling us about it there and when I traveled a bit here I would say looks like Scotland I love the scenery and people. I'm in my 60's now but through your channel I can enjoy a place I've loved. Thank you so much for sharing.

Who's idea was this? Scott asking Katie and in the car park' where is everyone, because we are the only pair of lunatics that have come out here' ha ha. Love your humour Scott and Katie. It is darn cold out there. Very interesting and look forward to when you go back and it is open.

It annoys me when people use history incorrectly or as a weapon. Culloden was more like a Scottish civil war, Highlands vs lowlands. One side lead by a French man and the other by a German. This channel is refreshing in that it doesn't skew the history, keep it up

This is just a almost repeat of the last video I saw. I dont get it? Is it just because of the 4k?

We explained in a community post that some viewers were commenting that they wanted shorter episodes, so we decided to try providing small portions of episodes to those viewers who don't have time for 50 minutes. Apologies if you didn't see that post. We will be providing new footage and full episodes as usual, every Tuesday. Kx
