This ride will actually close down for good in September this year because of old age. I'm actually considering riding it since I'll be going to the Efteling next month but I'm a bit of a scaredy cat. It will be my last chance haha

Envytastic I live close to the Efteling and I went in the ride I didn’t regret at any cost it’s in MY top 10 rides in Efteling also go in Vliegenden hollander :).

@@lindakotkamp6781 It getting demolished because the maintenance cost is becoming to high. Intamin does not produce this ride anymore so it is hard to come by spare parts when the ride breaks down. Efteling is placing a new ride that will not have the same cost issues. Still sad to see it go.

I love the unique sound this ride makes. It echoes through the entire front of the park. I remember entering the park as a kid, hearing that sound and getting so excited. I'll miss it, but the dueling Mack family coaster that'll replace it looks awesome too in the concept art!

As a Dutchy it’s so weird to see Efteling videos on the channel I’ll always watch for onrides like Mystic Manor and Pirates of the Caribbean from Disney Shanghai for example lol. Went here years ago with family. We went on this at the end of the day and there was a lovely lady operating it who, whenever we would arrive back at the station, would send us straight through again. We must have gone around 5 times as my brother and I would excitedly beg her to do it again. =) Thank you wherever you are! Not thought of that in years, thanks for sharing the vid.

It seems like it'd be dangerous being only partially on rails, but once you're on it you feel no danger whatsoever. I rode this about 25 years ago and have only the best memories of it - in fact, the only 'souvenir' photo we bought at Efteling was on this ride.
