Brussels is really something special, especially the impressive architecture. The Jardin du Mont des Arts is beautiful 🌳🌺🌳, I would love to have a garden like that at home 💖😉. Brussels has a very French feel, in contrast to Antwerp, where you feel more like you are in the Netherlands. These two cities couldn't be more different. In the Netherlands I recommend Amsterdam and Rotterdam, as well as Alkmaar with its cheese market and beautiful old town, Maastricht and Groningen. Both cities are university towns and therefore very popular with young people. Groningen is like little Amsterdam, only more tranquil, not as dirty and overrun with tourists. Take care of yourself and stay healthy, my good friend.

This is a famous provocation by the painter to explain the contrast between representation and reality. Magritte stated: “Who would dare claim that the image of a pipe is a pipe? Who could smoke the pipe of my painting? Nobody. So, it's not a pipe." Magritte, a native of Belgium, is considered the greatest painter of surrealism and in this nation the consumption of mussels, cooked in broth or in various ways (tomato, wine, beer) and accompanied by fried potatoes (moules et frites) is very common. To conclude, the hanging painting is a nice and ingenious double homage to a great artist and to one of Belgium's most loved foods. Personally, with mussels I prefer to enjoy one of the many excellent Italian white wines instead of beer. I am astonished by this video: you have just shown a bunch of tourist shops in a few streets crowded with tourists and no-one else and you call it: Brussels? Is that really giving the feeling of the city, showing its beauties, make people to know something about it? You haven’t shown anything local, anything special, just standardised shopping. Ten minutes on the Council website will tell you more. Absolutely awful, if this is our today world. I hope there is something more left.
